Players dont join clubs just because they won the UCL that year. They join because they believe the club has a future and can compete for the UCL and other major trophies. People will say Hazard joined us because we won the UCL but I don't believe that; he delayed signing for the Manc clubs probably because he wanted to live in London and play for us, our cl performances would hardly make a playmaker like him want to join, Agent Cole sold talked up Chelsea a lot when he was at Lille and told Hazard we were the right club for him. If Falcao wants to compete for the big trophies but remain loyal to Atletico, he will come here. We consistently fight for trophies and often go on good spells in the UCL unlike City, if he joined Real he would be betraying Atletico as they are very close rivals. Can't see PSG being appealing to him at all, apart from the money.

He's just announced he will be leaving Bilbao in the summer when his contract ends. Surely Bilbao will want to cash in on him in Jan? With our current Spanish manager I can see us making a move for him, as he may be able to be picked up on the cheap. Not really sure I'd want him at the Bridge, should be better than Torres but he's always seemed like an on/off player to me; one game he's amazing, the next you can't even tell if he's playing :S

We have arguably the best midfield in the league but our strikers are nowhere near the best. Imagine the attacking trio behind a ST that finishes chances that are given to him and also creates his own, we'd be an unstoppable attacking force. Thats why I think we need Falcao

Get him, get anyone that can just score a goal. Today's performance was abysmal, we created chances but neither of our ST's finished them with one (Torres) not even having a shot.

I know what you mean. it feels like we've opened all our presents early I think we do need another CF. Lukaku might not come back from loan next year, he might go out again maybe to get some CL experience? So we could be stuck in the same situation next year. Remy would suit me but tbh I dont mind as long as we get a decent CF who can play backup
