Mata from a pure attacking sense, is at least as good as Oscar. So we are basically selling our joint best CAM to our rivals (may not matter this season but probably will next). Not something that is good. But the small bright side for this season is we have already played united. So United should be harder to beat and more likely to take points from City and Arsenal... Its a small positive, but better than nothing.

So if we want to sell him to united, i would expect us to demand a fee slightly north of 50. They can't be the only ones wanting him.

Good for all parties. He gets to have first team football. And we make a good profit from the sale, which is something that rarely happens for us. Just a classic case of him not getting many oppertunities and failing to take advantage of the few minutes he did get. I am very confident he will go on to do some great things, but he wouldn't get there with us, not with the other players we have to play that position.

Yeah definitely Shaw over RR. But i don't think Shaw is very likely, especially in Jan. And RR seems like a good second option. But if we think we can get Shaw in the summer (Which i doubt), then we could wait, with Azpi to cover if something happens to cole.
