I have read all logical arguments about wage amounts and whatever, but i juts want us to sign him for a couple of years. He showed his emence fitness at the end of the game charging back in the 93 min when David Luiz was only jogging. We spend a lot of money on players some of whom haven't given 1 percent of what lamps has given us and we would be stupid if we didn't even offer him a deal. That would make me as happy as any signing we may get in january.

Well put it this way... No English club will pay that for him and they want more than what we will offer for him. Other than maybe qpr, so if he wants to join a relegation scrap for a bit more money then he can do that. Or he could go to psg or something.

We were never gonna put him in the wide position we already have a great attacking mid. If he played well it shouldn't take long to jump over torres is the pecking order. I hope we can find an agreement providing it doesn't start getting stupid with wage amounts as you will be hard pressed to find a better deal.

If he wanted more than double he gets at Newcastle then it is stupid. Torres' wage is stupid and we could do with removing it off our wage bill.

Well this is weird. Surely he would have only had a medical if the terms were agreed... So its very weird. Eventually we will get some news about what exactly happened. It will be a mighty shame if we don't get him an and he goes elsewhere... Obviously we shouldn't play ludicrous wage amounts but I don't know where you would find a player that good that cheap in terms of fee.

Demba ba to sign for us was taken off the bookies website but now it is back with us at 4/7... I sense this story isn't over but it will be a real shame if we don't get him.

Bit harsh. I think you are being over critical tbh. What I meant by causes less problems in midfield is the fact that problems are magnified when they are made in defence because you are the last line. The fact he has an extra layer of protection helps him. Also compared to what we have available to play in there I think comparably he is one of the best.

He is now 1/6 to go to us. Be great to have a proper target man back in the team. He is 27 as well so got quite a few years and his knee problem seems overly Brought up. He is also gonna be under 10 mil and that seems like great value to me.

He's never gonna be the most popular man at the bridge but he is doing well and we are winning and playing well. Which is all he can do do as a manager. He does have to get credit for finally initiating the Luiz to midfield thing.

He causes a lot less problems in midfield and i think it suits him. Your right he is not a midfielder.... YET! he has only had a few games there but I think it works atm and should get even better over time.Also, perhaps more importantly we have been winning with it and playing well.

It's not like he will be under a shit load of pressure realistically as the amount of time torres has had to try and make it work he should be fine. I really want this to happen now. I thought he was going to arsenal but would be great if he wasn't too... Especially as Falcao looks unlikely to want to come in january.
