Really hope Demba ba starts. I kept waking up having dreamt I had missed it. And realised that it was only half 7 lol. Unlike a lot of premier league games I am a lot more interested in the performance than just getting the win.

It will be nice to see a striker who doesn't start walking when he gets through on goal... Lol.

I have never really liked him to be honest. He is trying to act like ronaldo, or at least like what ronaldo used to be like (mario is worse though), yet doesn't have the game to match. I find him mostly annoying and wouldn't want him at chelsea. He splits opinion and some people love him but i would rather have someone who gives everything on the pitch and isn't liable to mid game sulks etc. Maybe the media portray him in a negative way and he is not as outragous as is thought, but he isn't exactly doing himself any favours.

I suppose so, it seems logical but whether rafa sees it like that is another matter. 95% of us see Ba as being our number 1 or at least a big competitor but rafa could just see him as a danny replacement. And if we are faultering with a top quality striker sitting on the bench that would be an extremely tough thing to witness.. Or torres might even start performing better if he knows he has to, to be able to keep his place or fight for it. Unlikely but you never know.

The sooner demba starts firing the quicker he can be estabished as our number 1 striker. He already is in most of our minds, but i doubt he is in the mind of rafa and his opinion is the one whose needs to be changed. Though he isn't stupid and knows that if he keeps starting torres leaving demba ba on the bench then he will get so much heat from us lot. Would love him to score but for me, just to see someone else up there to play with the 3 behind and see the difference would be a great step... But he hasn't definitely been given the nod to start yet so i shouldn't get my hopes up too much.

Next season, how about a little 4-4-2 action with Ba and Lukaku... Now that would be a powerful front line...

I honestly can't wait. I would love it so much if he could start things off for a bang! I know people will say things take time he probably needs some time to adjust etc but i honestly think we will see an instant improvement and whilst he may not be amazing early on, he will be extremely hungry to impress and hopefully he can show that tommorrow.

I meant more in a striker sense. Even young romelu cost 18 mil. Azpi and moses have been 2 great value signings for sure and mata has obviously been our best player for a while, but 7 mil for demba ba would appear to be the greatest value of all for the second highest goalscorer in the prem this season...

Such a great transfer and it is refreshing to see our club pursue a great value signing as opposed to just going for the higher priced options... Should be a great signing and i can't wait to see him upfront with mata hazard etc behind him... So exciting...
