We should prioritise everything else, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't try and win it, because we are a "champions league" team. Play a weakened team for the early stages and go from there. I can't see this being true, but it is a possibility that could happen in the future. I really want us to keep courtois, but i can't see us keeping him unless we bench cech. As many have said petr is world class and can be world class for another 5 years. Courtois is far too good to sit on the bench and unless we loan him out 5 years in a row i can't see him staying. The only other option is in 1 or 2 years time to bench cech and make courtois the first choice keeper but i can't see us doing that to cech especially as barring any major injuries he should be able to be as good as he is now. It's a very tricky situation and whilst i can't see us doing that deal in december for june of this year i wouldn't put it past us when the transfer window opens.
