It pisses me off... They are "not allowed" to show 3pm saturday games as they fear it would reduce attendences at the grounds. Its crazy. People like me would spend so much more money to be able to see any game when they are on. It is easily done, and they would make so much more money off it. People would still go to the games. Yet NBC are gonna show 380 games, thats more than SKY, ESPN etc. And i pay 35 quid a month (Well i don't technically) for skysports. Yet in the NFL they have their game pass system which generates so much money for them and gives people the ability to watch every single game. Absolutely crazy.

Time will tell if we buy him, but for the German National team he has the same number of goals as Reus, with a few more appearances, so i wouldn't say he is 3rd choice as he is very much apart of their First team. If its a choice between someone like him and Lewandowski then i would rather lewy, but theres no guarentee of that happenning and its not an either/or situation.

No Buy is a guarentee. Schurrle is a regular in the German national team and Marin is not. He may not be great, but then so may any signing, as there are no guarentees, as we chelsea fans should know more than anyone. And there are a lot of quality German players imo. Hummels, Reus, Schweinstiger, muller, Gundogen, Gotze, Ozil etc. They are rated highly because they are one of the best national teams and constantly produce a lot of talented players, the majority of whom are still relatively young as well.

As i mentioned in the post above, our front 3 is very freeflowing, and many times during the game Hazard will be on the right. I don't think he is worse in that position, and its not like we are moving him to an alien position. Schurrle, hasn't had to play on the righe but it doesn't mean he can't be utilised there. He can also play striker which is helpful.

A player... He's no where near mata and hazard atm... But who is? You will not buy anyone at 22 who is at mata or hazards level for 20 mil. He would be a useful addition. And all this talk about Hazard being much worse on the right... I am not seeing that. He has proven countless times his proficiency with his left foot, and done just as well on the right as the left. Also our wide men switch round all the time, and are very freeflowing. Its not like we are having to move Hazard to cm to accomadate him. And i'm not really getting the sturridge link. Maybe in shooting terms, but other than that, i think he would add a bit more height and strength to a front 3 and can play an inside forward type role if needed. From what i have seen off him i have been fairly impressed, and at 22 he still has improving to do.

I really want piazon to succeed along with all our young talent, but i am not convinced he can yet play at a high level. I wouldn't really call signing schurrle a "squad player".

I think Schurrle is a great player. We lack depth and i don't think he will be a squad player. Hazard Mata Schurrle Would be some Lineup.

Edit: Pic not showing up... But yeah, something like that Bayern kit in blue would be pretty good. This would look pretty cool in blue, but with some gold trim on the edge to keep a bluey gold theme, yet still be simple. Not sure about that collar though.
