Minor league was perhaps too extreme, but i could definitely see other leagues like the bundesliga overtaking the premier league if extremely talented players like Bale and co were to leave. I don't think it is a big risk atm but if you look at the english teams in the champions league this season they are a little bit behind the top spainish and german teams, so the bringing in of high profile strikers would help to re-establish its foothold as one of the greatest leagues in the world.

Probably unpopular, BUT, i would Definitely swap KDB and like 10 Mil, for Lewy. KDB is a great talent and i would love to see him here doing well. But we NEED a great striker. and Lewy is a great striker, who is also still young.

I think that is a fair point. As much as Players like Bale are a pain in the ass, to us, it does strengthen the premier league, and if they were all to leave the PL, would soon become a minor league as opposed to the greatest as it is often regarded.

It could be some season. And it would boost the top teams quality in the premier league. Imagine: United lining up with RVP and Lewy, City lining up with Aguero and Cavani Us lining up with Mata, Hazard and Falcao That would probably be some close fought premier league title race.

If chalobah became a regular in our team then yeah... I would love him to be captain, but i think we should give it a few years. Luiz no 1, then make chalobah no 2 When he makes it to our first team.

One last point for now... I would rather have a passionate, perhaps overly so player as my captain, than a Captain, who doesn't look like he cares. Its like the manager situation. No one wants to see managers be like Avram grant and have the same facial expression whether you are up 2 or down 2. You want someone like mourinho who will run a lap of the pitch when you score a winner. If a player proves they will do anything to help the team succeed they will gain so much respect and admiration from the home fans.

Our Current Captain, is worshipped by chelsea fans, and hated by everyone else. Luiz is now loved by us, but hated by many after his antics today... Seems like a perfect fit for me. As i have said before, there is never gonna be an exact replacement for JT, but Luiz would make a good captain imo. The most important thing, is for him to play well, love his club, and give 100%. If he does that, then he is a great shout for captain.

A draw should be good enough. I really want to smash them though tbh, because of the great result today. It would mean a 3 point (effectively 4 point gap) with 2 to play. A win vs Aston villa and its game over. Definitely more of a must not lose game, after today, though hopefully the team don't go out to just play for a draw as that could cause problems.
