His pace isn't something we should be that concerned about tbh. He has most of the attributes we are lacking in the DM role. He Is much better than mikel, can be the rock that sits in there and enables Oscar/Ramires/Lampard to have more of a free role and play how they want. I Especially think for someone liek oscar who could make that position his. Also by the time he is retiring or not that good we should hopefully be ready for the likes of Chalobah to take over, and he would be a good teacher of that sort of role.
-
Amen to that.
-
Just to add to this as well. De rossi is a DM, not a striker. Age is much less important for that sort of role, as if he can keep in shape and stay injury free he can play there for a long time still.
-
Great footballer. But i defintely do not want him here. He can stay at liverpool if he wants, they are a perfect match.
-
Lol Liverpool. Never fail to cause laughter through how stupid they are.
-
Still looked in great shape for 40. Could be a great supersub...
-
If we buy schurrle which looks really likely, i doubt we will buy di maria as well.
-
Fuck it give em 50 mil plus torres.
-
Bid 15 then. Would sort out many of our DM problems, and enable us to play someone like oscar alongside him with a bit more freedom.
-
If that's actually true then that could be all the edge we need.

Imo, i can see this appointment being our longest lasting in a while. Simply because he is a great manager, loved and who else can we replace him with. And where would Mourinho leave to. He has been pretty much everywhere. Can't see him going back to Spain. Italy isn't what it once was though really suits Mourinho's style, France is very unlikely. The only big league he hasn't been a manger in is the bundesliga and there are only 2 teams I could comprehend him managing and dortmund and klopp just seem a perfect match unlikely to end soon, and pep I'd now at bayern. So hopefully, we can get it announced and finally get some consistency and stability whilst having a great manger whom, most would love to stay for a long time.

I do now. Lol. Though anime has never really been something I have been very into.Unless pokemon counts lol
-
Yep, definitely if we don't buy anyone to go in there. Modric coming in, would be a bit of an awkward situation, in that sense as we couldn't play them together, but if we were to buy someone like de rossi, or lars bender then, Oscar could really thrive alongside them.
-
Anyone else confused about what you lot are talking about? I'm assuming its some anime type thing.

If I eat myself would I be twice as big, or dissapear completely?

@, Everyone run! He's still high. -
May as well try and play him in a deeper role. That way he can get consistent game time and should be able to do a great job for us, as realistically it is unlikely he is gonna be our first choice AM. And i think his skills are more suited to playing at CM rather than wide on the right.
-
An Oscar and Ramires Pivot isn't that great tbh. Also those numbers are quite distorted because obviously players we actually have are gonna be more popular than those we don't. For example, if we announce tommorrow that we have signed Luka Modric i guarentee he would be the number 1 choice for the pivot. Or if we sign Varane, or subotic tommorrow then they would be our number one choice for centre back over ivanovic and it wouldn't be close.
-
This is my point. I agree with all of those names, but theres no guarentee that they would sell them, or want to come here. The majority would also be more expensive and compared to other positions there arn't actually that many quality ones available. I don't think there is a person on this forum who wouldn't have reus or di maria, but its never as easy as that.
-
He's not a right winger. He can play there, but he is a AM, whose next best positon is probably a bit deeper. You may as well have just said oscar.
-
I think everyone (Most people) would have Di Maria over schurrle. But perhaps its not as easy as that. Madrid might not want to sell, He might not want to come etc. And i obviously don't know, but would imagine Madrid would want closer to 40 mil for him than 20.
-
I'm weird though. On the internet or tv or whatever it is quite hard to make me laugh. Though in person someone can make me laugh just by looking at me.
-
I was only saying what i thought it would be, and what Mourinho would go with. Don't particular have an opinion as yet, as to what i would play before we get to august.
-
Unless we buy di maria, which would be completely weird as what would be the point of buying Schurrle, i think he is very likely to be a starter. I can't see Mourinho sticking Oscar out wide all season, so i think it is very likely he would be a starter. But tbh, thats not even the point. Its a long season, and we were undergunned last season. Our first 11 was full of talent, but our bench was often very bare. Now obviously we could have just recalled our loanees (which i would have done). But players gaining first team experience elsewhere isn't that bad of a thing in my opinion.

Why would i be bitterly disappointed? I have already said several times i would rather we didn't loan KDB, but i don't see it as as big an issue as many make out for the reasons i have already stated such as: 1. Re-sale Value. 2. KDB gets to be star of a champions league team and gain valuable experience. 3. Schurlle gives us an alternative option Just because we all rate Kevin highly doesn't mean the club will just put him in the first 11, so in truth he could be just a squad player for this season, so i don't see a problem with his loan deal. Selfishly/impatiently, i would love to see him come here straight away under mou, then become a world beater and play alongside Mata and Hazard but it doesn't always work like this. Schurlle is another option, so it shouldn't be a KDB vs Schurlle thing. They are both Young talented Chelsea players. (if this goes through).
