Yeah this is my thought really. Window has been way better than we could have ever expected so whilst we may have issues I can't be anything other than happy with what we have done. Next summer I'm sure we will address it if we need to and we don't find an internal solution

I've just watched the game in full. Great defensively which is very nice to see. Great defensive pairing. Chillwell easily the MOTM. Difference with him and alonso/Emerson was crazy. Even if he didn't score I think he was my MOTM. Jorginho is out pen taker he takes the pens end of. We have an order and stick to it. Timo will get plenty of chances to score. Imagine at 2 nil timo takes it and misses and they score. The uproar. Jorgi is a great pen taker he takes the pens if he's on the pitch. Timo is playing there out of necessity and won't be there long term so I'm sure he will be fine and soon be playing down the middle. I'd still want to see a bit more from him but he wasn't bad just struggled to get in the game. Kai looked good for the most part. Jorginho was very good as well. Can't not be happy with that.

Theres zero evidence he doesn't like him. And of players have a bad attitude that's not a problem with lampard. Players with bad attitudes shouldn't play. Not saying callum has a bad attitude as again we have no evidence of that. People have very short memories acting as if callum has played amazing all last year and not playing is crazy. He had a very bad game vs Barnsley. Got anothet chance of the bench vs West Brom and did well and then played vs spurs and did pretty well. He gets game time when he does well.

I agree with that. Big problem we had is that oli was isolated all game so I don't think the problem was mount being too high up the pitch. I do agree he is more suited to a deeper role than a number 10 though obviously

Yeah he's not a winger so it's not ideal but he can do a job vs Palace as we will probably need him to with Pully only on the bench. Basically we have a choice of Tammy Werner havertz CHO Or Werner CHO havertz mount And I think having Werner and CHO in the right positions is worth more than what we lose from playing Werner wide and CHO on the right.

Yeah I think people can be happy that Frank has pretty much made it clear he wants to play timo up front but doesn't feel he can given the lack of winger options. Which I think we knew but I know he has been getting stick for doing it. Having said that I think what we lose wide we gain having him up front so I'd like to see him there. CHO on the left and then mount can do a job on the right for 1 more game before Pully is ready. Having chillwell should hopefully help with our lack of width issue on the left.

The only reason we should let him go is if callum is fully forcing it and refusing to play etc etc as we don't want a player like that in the squad whatever needs we have... BUT I really don't believe callum is that sort of guy and all the reports are that he gets on well with Frank etc even if he does want more play time as all players do

He gave a blanket reply to all the potential outgoings saying everything will be looked at on a player by player basis. So he didn't really say anything. I highly doubt he'll go because of our winger situation.

Unpopular opinion is if our left back and keeper are more solid our centre back pairing should do better. They all need some confidence and hopefully we can get that so whoever the 2 centre backs are will perform better in a situation where they aren't thinking that every shot on target is going in and that they will have to cover for left backs who don't track back. We've conceded 7 goals this season in 5 games. 5 can be put down to individual errors which is mental. The keeper ones we hope are mostly eradicated (he will make mistakes but hopefully not 1 a game). Then 2 on shit left backs who hopefully won't have to play many. And then thiago silva which has to be allowed to get a pass on his first one. Now more mistakes will happen. Our back 5 isn't exactly gonna be the greatest. But if we stop giving teams goals then of course we will perform better. We need a bigger sample size to see what mendys like but if we can be better from corners and he can make some saves that is a big big plus from last year but can't be easy for our centre backs in that scenario

So mou leaves him out of every squad this season but then they turn down a loan deal for him... Just saw he's playing today though so who knows

Matt law was very vague tbf and he said "I wouldn't be surprised if..." I highly doubt we sell rudiger and then loan tomori to bring someone else in last minute as the cost will be too much. This is the problem where reputable sources speculate and then people jump on it as gospel. Tomori wants game time but if he's 3rd choice cb he will get it. 4 days til the window closes I can't see us going for anyone else it'll be rice or nothing. Marina and the gang have done fantastic work this window so far not sure why everyone is doubting them now.

Why would callum go to bayern to be fourth choice winger. Why would we want callum to go to bayern and be fourth choice winger. None of it makes sense so I can't see it happening as it makes sense for no party other than bayern.
