  1. Yeah i also wondered about City. I don't see how they'll be able to comply with the FFP rules. I think Madrid will be able to comply with the FFP. They spend a lot of money but the amount of money they make is just crazy.
  2. Just wait untill we can get rid of Torres. £18.460.000 off our wage bill. :woo: and Hazard is not on 185k ffs.
  3. Our problem is a lack of creativity in our midfield 3. We usually play a 4-3-3 with a dm and 2 box to box playing in front of him. Witsel is always the DM and then we've got Fellaini, Dembele, Dufour for the 2 other positions. Like you can see none of them are really that creative. Our ability to create chances rests solely on Hazard and De Bruyne. Lack of proper offensive fullbacks is also not helping. We've got 2 CB's playing fullback.
  4. Well i think some might say that he's earned a shot at being our nr 1 goalkeeper because of his performances at Atletico. it's not really about demanding the number 1 jersey. Think he just wants to be assured that he'll get his shot at the beginning of the season.
  5. Think your going about this wrong. Hazard is as invaluable to us as Ronaldo was to man utd or Bale was to Tottenham maybe not stats wise but status wise. man utd and tottenham were both in a weaker bargaining position due to Ronaldo and Bale's desire to leave their clubs. If they didn't wanna leave then both man utd and tottenham wouldn't have sold them. The situation with Hazard is different. He has expressed no desire to leave so as a club we are in a much stronger position and can tell any club to go fuck off no matter what money they throw at us. That's why people are valuing Hazard higher then Bale and Ronaldo.
  6. Disagree with your first sentence. There are players that are simply invaluable to their club. Get the feeling that your underestimating Hazard's importance to our team and his potential. You act like Hazard is your run of the mill top talent and that we can just pick up a new one at K-mart. He's one of the rare talents that can singlehandedly win games for you. He's the type of player where you build your team around not a player you sell off just to make a profit.
  7. Objectively : He's not for sale. When your trying to build a team that looks to dominate football for the next 8-10 years it makes no sense to sell your (arguably) best player who has the potential to be 1 of the top 5 players in the world. We're not that desperate for money and even if we were there would be other players that i'd sell before i'd even consider selling Hazard.
  8. What a bitter cunt. He won this and that ? 9. It's fake, only source is facebook and twitter.
  10. Hazard really doesn't dive. Don't think you can compare what Oscar did to what Hazard does. Hazard is just smart when it comes to shielding the ball and a lot of the times he's just a fraction of a second quicker on the ball then the defender. Oscar really dived when there was no need to but i agree with you that it's really not that big of a deal. He dived, he got a yellow card, end off. See no reason to discuss this any further.
  11. Wtf are you talking about he's barely had a proper ball played into him and he passed that ball to Lamps.
  12. You didn't..... but i didn't say that you did ?
  13. Not really we would be buying players that are in their prime (mid 20's) not 30 year old players. So it's not a "short patch up job". Easy to say" let's just introduce some young players" . Problem is that we already have a young team where most of the older players are past their prime. + the fact that the players we lack are right down the spine of the team (ST, CM, CB). So putting in young players into does spots really isn't a good option, unless your willing to win nothing for the next 3-4 seasons. First we need to get this team "clicking" (which requires quality signings) then we can start introducing youth into the team.
  14. Don't think there's much question that we need to spend more, no matter how ridiculous it seems with all the money we've already spent. We lack key elements that make or break a team. ST, CM, LB, CB need to be bought. Just sell some of our deadweight (Ba, DeBruyne) and maybe some of our loanees .
  15. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2527692/How-Eden-Hazard-working-Chelseas-new-Special-One-Jose-Mourinho-happy.html?ico=sport%5Emostread As Hazard listens to his manager’s words read back to him, he is candid in his response. ‘There are times when I disappear out of the match, so I do want to be as consistent as possible. But what he said at Sunderland, that’s the sort of comment I want to hear more and more often, every weekend. ‘I do have matches where it’s really good and some where it’s not so good. So I’m hoping to improve my work-rate, work really hard on that and get more consistency. He’s a manager that demands a lot both in defence and in attack.’
  16. How about the fact that Cole has been poor all season and Azpilicueta has simply played better then him. How's that for a reason.
  17. Just remembered that the physio from our national team was on a tv show last year and was talking about Hazard's recovery for the international games,(injury at the end of last season.) He said that even though Hazard's a bit of a joker, people would be suprised about how hard Hazard can work and how motivated he was to get fit again. I think this Ashton guy is just making assumptions based off of Hazard's laid-back character. If Hazard was actually showing a lack of commitment do you really think Mourinho would let it slide and keep playing him every game ? Not saying Hazard doesn't need to be pushed, he does but that doesn't mean he lacks commitment. Also if Hazard actually lacked commitment why is it then that he's improved his defensive game immensely. There would be no way he could have done that if he wasn't committed to improve himself.
  18. Yeah this. If Mourinho wasn't happy with Hazard's commitment he'd simply bench him.
  19. Hmm Would be interesting to see a front four of ------------Hazard Schurrle--Mata--Willian and just have them switch positions all the time. Never gonna happen though.
  20. I would define technical ability as the ability to have the ball do exactly what you want it to do in every situation. Basically having complete control over it. Whether that's giving an inch perfect pass or cross, finishing on goal, controlling a ball out of the air, running with the ball at full speed like it's glued to your feet, holding up the ball when your playing with your back to the goal, etc....
