Sorry but blaming the inabillity of Mikel and ramires to pass the ball quickly and accurately on our AM 's movement is ridiculous. When our AM's make a move there's only a small window where that ball can be played in especially against teams that sit back the way West Ham did but neither Mikel nor Ramires have that ability so what do they do they pass the ball sideways or wait until our AM 's pop out from the defensive wall and then play it in. Completely useless. Isn't it kinda logical that out AM's are having more touches on the ball ? Can't really blame Lampard for the blocked shots just good defending. Should have done better on the final chance though. The shots that your talking about really aren't clear cut chances. Yeah Hazard should have hit the target but scoring from that position really isn't easy. Same with the other shot he was twisting and turning to get rid of the 2 players marking him and just barely made enough space for a shot. Again yes he should have tried hitting the target but not easy from that angle. Agree on the Mikel and Matic shots. Think you just can't blame the front four alone for "finishing" poorly. Players that had no business shooting were taking shots and were wasting possession.

You're kidding right ? It's no coincidence that when Mikel came off and Lampard and Matic went into the midfield that we started playing better. It's not because Mikel played poor but neither him nor Ramires can move the ball quickly enough and both don't offer much going forward. Same applies to our fullbacks. Ivanovic is close to useless going forward and Azpilicueta on the right loses a lot of his quality. Also what chances did our front four mess up by finishing poorly ? Most of the shots they took were from outside the 18 yard box. Our front four didn't get any proper support untill lampard and Matic came in.

Gonna repeat what i said in the matic thread. Cause this game really showed it. 3 key signings need to be made. -Striker that can hold up the ball and link up (so that we don't have to play with crap like Torres, Ba and Etoo) -Left back (So that we can play Azpilicueta on the right and bench Ivanovic) -DLP (This really should be a priority, even more so then a striker, cause atm we're just not moving the ball quick enough and not having a playmaker in our midfield is the reason why.) On the game: Ramires was useless, Ivanovic was useless, Mikel was decent but he's just so slow moving the ball. Willian should have been taking off at half time, horrible game from him, very sloppy. Cech, Cahill, Terry : Did what (little) they had to do. Oscar was underwhelming apart from that shot outside of the box. Hazard was far too complacent just laying the ball off to someone else instead of going for it himself. He had a couple of nice flicks but the last 10 minutes is what i wanted too see from him all game long. Driving at players and taking shots. Being selfish. Selfish players get shit done. He needs to realize that. Ba was useless. Etoo really needs to do better. Lampard came in well was unlucky not to score but really should have scored that last chance. Matic did what he had to do. Mourinho poor teamselection. Ramires-Mikel pivot, Ivanovic at right back, Azpi at left back.

Some great football. Also shows us what we're missing to become a beast of a team. Fullbacks pushing up, Striker being able to hold up the ball in tight spaces and linkup play well and a DLP to spray those passes. Imo we're 3 key signings away from becoming an unstoppable team. (sorry for going offtopic)

Don't get why people are talking about his crossing. His primary job (in attack) here would be making runs in behind Eden to give him that extra bit of space to work with and provide width when we're passing the ball around. He's 18 years old and already a very solid left back who's only going to get better. He's got a sh*tload of pace which is kinda handy when you have to get up and down the field. He's comfortable on the ball which suits our playing style. He's got height and is already quite strong for an 18 year old which ,again, is only going to get better as he ages. It is a lot of money to pay for him, however the market is inflated, he's english, he's young and Southampton have a strong bargaining position. If you take all these things into consideration then it's not that suprising that Southampton are asking upwards of 25 million.

hmm well i don't know if it'll work but try this. Go to "lobby", then on the right you'll see "Get an official team" click on it. At the bottom of the page you'll see "i want to play in a private league instead" then type in the code. Normally you should find the league then and be able to join it. That's how i did it atleast. Hope it works for you !

I've read in the rules that if your average age is below 25 you'll get a reduction in gaining match experience. How big of a loss are we talking about and also does the reduction increase when your teams gets younger. For example does a squad with an average age of 23 gain more exp then a squad with an average age of 20 or is it simply 1 reduction when your below the 25 y average. Just thinking of building a very young team and getting rid of all the old players. Also int the economy section i got 250 k from my main sponsor. Is this something that i get weekly and is there any way to increase it ?

Selling a squad player for £37 million, buying a cheaper squad player that fits the system better and using the money we have left to buy a quality striker or left back.
