Even though Balague might not be the most credible person to listen to, what he said makes a lot of sense. I forgot that with the buy out clause, the buying club needs to give the money to the player to pay out his contract, so there will be tax in that transaction. It would cost any team hundreds of millions to get Messi and Barca wouldn't want to sell, so buy out is a must. That's alot of money for anyone to splash, maybe too much. Unless there are help from sponsors

Good luck to Mark. He was great when he deputised last season and he didn't moan this season despite being 3rd choice. Sad to see him go but happy if he can get more playing time.
