He said "no comment" to the media. Not the Atletico Madrid board.

Falcao has told Atletico Madrid he wants out (no idea why. he was scoring a huge amount of goals there.) He's traveling back to Spain to speak with them.
-
Would love him if he was under £10mil. Would be great against slow sides and 'weak' sides. (I'll be honest though - I just wanna stick with Ramires on the right wing and have Marin his back-up.)

I've spoken to loads of people from Brazil, and almost all of them agree that this guy is grossly overrated and over hyped. From what I've personally seen, he looks extremely... well... idk. Above average, but nothing special. He's also one of the slowest players I've ever seen. No exaggeration.
-
Would be a bad move. He no longer even plays as a striker. He plays in the hole behind the main striker, linking play between midfield and the forward-line. He flourishes like that.

Lukaku.Is.Nothing.Like.Drogba.When.It.Comes.To.Football. All they share is similar hair, body and the same ethnicity. If he was white, people would be saying he could be Carroll-esque. As things stand though, if we want to compare him to another player of similar build and ethnicity, he's more like Kenwyne Jones. P.S. - Before I read this next comment again from anyone, no, Lucas Piazon is not 'the next Kaka'.

Why do I get the feeling that we'll sign Krasic instead of Hulk, then everyone on here will riot?

Does anyone know what style to call that 4th picture? The one of the city which if faded black? Would love to find more pictures of city's, towns etc. with that same black shade over it.

It's not about length; it's how you use it

I'm pretty confident this guy's off to Juventus. It would seem that the only 2 strikers that Juventus are really interested in are Cavani and Van Persie. (The board wants Van Persie, Conte wants Cavani.) However, do you know what the formula for success was last season for Juve? The fact that they no longer used deadwood and players who were originally bought as a 2nd-choice as their number 1 target didn't join. They will no longer settle for a 2nd-option. As they cannot get their hands on one of the above 2 strikers this season (Cavani), and it looking unlikely they'll sign Van Persie unless Manchester City drop interest (possible), the board and Conte are reverting to their earlier idea of keeping the misfiring Matri, and instead of adding a new goalscorer, adding a new creator instead to try and fill Del Piero's void if they can't sign one of the above 2. Jovetic has a release clause of around £23mill I believe. Juventus will either pay that with the money they expect to get from Elia, Krasic, Ziegler, Melo and Iaquinta all being sold, or they will offer a less amount and add Quagliarella as part of the deal. I'm also hearing now that Chamakh could be joining Fiorentina, but they aren't exactly rolling in cash! This would support the idea that Jovetic is off to Juve so that they can have a decent amount of transfer money. Either way, I seriously doubt he's coming to Chelsea. I also doubt we actually even had a strong interest in him to begin with. It was probably just a made-up story in The Sun which gained momentum with other 'sources' picking up on it. Hope he does well!

I have a question (serious answers please. don't just say 'both') - Who do you guys despise more? Arsenal or Tottenham?
-
Juventus have rejected a bid from Bayern Munich for Marchisio. I expect rumours of Bayern wanting him as a potential Schweinsteiger replacement to pick up pace now.
-
I'm sorry, but I'm going to be changing my vote a few times just to add to the suspense... I'm the ultimate troll ( please don't hate me ) [i will ultimately pick who I want though]

I'd love to have Walcott here. With players like Hazard, Mata etc. here to help him, I'm sure he'd reach that obvious potential of his. Also:- WE HAVE NO ONE WITH GREAT PACE IN THE SQUAD AT THE MOMENT ASIDE FROM RAMIRES (unless I'm missing someone obvious). Aside from the "lack of creativity" and "old squad" comments we would always get, "no pace" was the other. Walcott is also unselfish which is so important from a wing position. He's English too, and I do really feel strongly about us getting more English players. Yes, it's all great and fine having a diverse club when it comes to nationalities, but we are an English club, and we should have more English players.

Time to do some cardio, run out of breath, then roll up in a corner and cry due to my lack of agility, stamina and the likes. Has anyone ever attempted the "Insanity" workout? As the name suggests, it is Insane. Barely got through the warm-up yesterday!

Lol, his smile here makes me smile! (no homo. do people say "no homo" anymore?)

Is that Kalas I see in that top picture? It looks more like Kalas, but I assume it's Marin. Absolutely love Kalas anyway. Hope he makes it here.
-
On average, Danny Murphy, Baines, James Morrison, Pedersen, Gower + Etherington all created more chances per game last season than Cabaye.
-
Considering his terrible time here as a player, I'm not sure why he'd want to come back, but I'd personally love for him to. Aside from when he played for us, he was one of the best strikers I've seen play. Simple. Would be amazing to add him to our club again.

This may just sound ignorant, which I understand, but looking at some of the "Can't wait for pre-season! " tweets from some of our young players, I've had a thought:- We'll likely take Chalobah, Piazon and Blackman from our youth ranks on the pre-season tour. Chalobah because he's rated highly, Piazon because he had a good debut season, and Blackman because we need to take another GK. The likes of Lalkovic, Feruz (although young), T.Kane etc. are simply lazy by the standards set by footballers in the 90's and before. (Actually, you can probably apply the rest of this to almost all young footballers these days.) Of course it's harder than it sounds to talk to the manager of a team even when you're in the youth/reserve ranks, but these guys really need to make more of an effort. Go to the manager's office every day. Constantly ask to go on the tour and be given a chance. Give the manager phone-calls, texts, letters etc. Have someone from within the club put in good words for you. You can't get everywhere on talent alone. I feel our young players are taking it for granted that they're at such a great club, and seem to just expect to get called upon when the time is right. They should be begging for a shot; not just tweeting the occasional subliminal shot at the staff like I've seen many of our youngsters do. It's already easily predictable that there will be tweets etc. sent out when some of our guys aren't selected for pre-season. I guess this was more of a rant than anything else. I'm not even sure if it'll make sense. Cba reading over it. Meh.

Manchester City have changed their club colour pretty much O_o I'm pretty sure this is more teal than blue, and the badge has changed as well:

RE: Maicon + Bale: Bosingwa kept Messi quiet for a full game. Does that mean he's a brilliant defender?

Oh you
