  1. Duff is simply the greatest player of all time IMHO.
  2. I agree with every word. I have no doubt he's good enough to be a coach for us. His skills as a defender with us were often underrated by most fans it would seem. I'm sure he'd improve the game of up-and-coming right-backs or new arrivals. Also, as mentioned, he's a very good translator. Would love for him to take up a coaching role.
  3. How can anyone say that Mikel is better than M'Vila, Biglia or Capoue?
  4. I'm glad we've been going for handsome players recently. It'll intimidate the likes of Wayne Rooney and Tevez on the pitch and hopefully make them crumble to their knees out of pure envy. Eden Hazard is a stud. Marko Marin looks like one of those French male walk models. Oscar looks like the 'cute guy down the street'. Cesar here looks like 'that popular guy in school everyone wants to be with'. Good work.
  5. I really don't understand the pronunciation problem with his surname. Are people on a bandwagon and joking about it now to get rep? idk. Seems really simple. Not trying to be a dickhead, but yeah. Sound it out slowly. Break it into parts - Azpil-icu-eta. Repeat after me - Azpil-icu-eta. Azpilicueta.
  6. Look up the definition of awareness.
  7. Just seen a fitty in the crowd with their tits out. Shame it was a man.
  8. Oh my GOD! These Hearts supporters are LOUD!
  9. Oh yeah, what I meant by 'he could surprise people' or whatever I said; Remember when people said Marin would be no more than a squad player? Then he was in our top 3 best players during pre-season? Yeah. We shouldn't make assumptions before he's played a game for us!
  10. I can't stand the ignorant thinking of "he came from Wigan = bad player" that some people have I'm sure he'll surprise many people. I look forward to seeing him this season. Hopefully he gets a decent amount of games.
  11. PERFECT Kalou replacement in my opinion! Great signing (assuming he agrees terms). Remember - A great squad doesn't have 20+ world class players. It has a few world class players, some veterans, some kids with potential, and then handy guys like Moses. Good stuff.
  12. He. Cannot. Simply. Just. Play. On. The. Wing. This is honestly so baffling. The same people crying out that we have enough strikers are saying play Sturridge on the wing? Then what happens if Sturridge is injured? Who is Torres' back-up? What if Torres gets injured instead and Sturridge plays up-front. Do we just put Ramires on the right wing again?
  13. I just don't understand how people can say this deal is 'impossible' or could 'never happen'. Have they forgotten which club they support?
  14. Look at the awareness for the goal at around 0:25 seconds. He and a teammate are both chasing the ball. I have no doubt that if Cavani was Torres in that situation, he would have just continued chasing the ball, been right beside his teammate, then made an awkward pass to his teammate beside him and THEN make a run into the box while the opposition all get back into position. I absolutely loved that piece of awareness, movement, whatever you want to call it, from Cavani - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txvjL6afd84
  15. Despite our dominating of possession for parts of the game yesterday, in my opinion, it looks clear that we're going to remain a counter-attacking team - which fits Cavani perfectly. I fell in love with Cavani when we beat Napoli at home last season. His work rate, surprising pace, passion on the pitch; everything was perfect. He's a real team player, too. I highly doubt we'll get him at this point, but I really would love him here.
  16. Still very glad we won this game. I don't think people realise, or maybe they forget; but promoted teams are usually difficult. Although they'll likely be nervous, they want to make a good first impression in the Premier League and keep morale high after their promotion. They play with confidence. Just see Southampton - Manchester City. This was never supposed to be an easy game. Again; very glad we won.
  17. This game was a dirty game. A real football game. Absolutely loved it.
  18. I believe Hazard has been directly involved in 6 of our goals already (unless I've seen something wrong) - Torres vs. Manchester City. Ivanovic vs. Wigan. Lampard vs. Wigan (won the penalty.) Lampard vs. Reading (won the penalty.) Cahill vs. Reading (I think he was involved anyway.) Ivanovic vs. Reading.
