Family reasons & location, it was literally Chelsea or a team outside of London, not because I'm from there but the majority of my family was at the time. I wasn't about to be modest and pick a mid table or lower team that wasn't "local" So I went with Chelsea. We also played with excitement back then. Either Zola and his striker friends were entertaining crowds or fast forward a few years and we were breaking bodies with Essien, Ballack etc. No sane person would choose this Chelsea team to support now, though, bar Belgians.
