I am sad it didn’t work out for him. He wasn’t exceptional player but had some good memories with him(hat trick against Fulham, wonder goal against Burnley, goal against Arse).

We conceded 49 goals this PL season. More than teams like Crystal Palace, Burnley, Sheffield United or Arsenal.... Nobody can seriously believe that replacing pur goalkeeper will drastically inprove our situation. Our defence is not well organized, we should rather put our money into a good LB and CB. Kepa has mad mistakes but generally he is fine.

Yeah, I don’t get why people are so harsh on him, he is was a very important player in the 2010s. I remember nobody really cared when we signed him on deadline day 2011 because everyone was focused on Torres. He came on as a subtitle against Liverpool(which was also Fernando’s debut) and I was surprised how good he was. He scored epic goals, won CL and two EL, good memories.
