Conte clearly sees something special in this kid. He might not be good enough yet, maybe JCS or Tomori are even better right now but in the future these minutes might be benefitial. I don’t think that the situation is dramatic. He was pretty decent in the first half and he is clearly a very talented, strong and tall midfielder. He needs to improve tactically but he will be a fine player for us.

That's exactly what we need. Players who play quite good in Carling Cup, FA-cup and easier CL-matches so Alonso or Morata can rest. We can't sign world class players on the bench. Obviously we don't spend as much money as City or MU anymore, we have to make it clever.

We need an experienced CM who is happy to be 3rd-4th choice. A 19 years old kid who failed hard for Bayern would not be a good choice.
