My personal preference is for a manager who is very particular in the playing style, one of these modern managers. One who will be super annoying regarding players characteristics and whether someone would work on his system, or not. He would ask for very specific characteristics and let go of players who don't fit that style. That way, maybe, just maybe, we may be able to disrupt "the project" just long enough to get a team going. 😅

As a striker, Tammy is A LOT better than Jackson. How did we end up with a single half-striker (looks more like a winger to me) in the PL spending as much as we did is beyond me and likely anyone.
-
They have already bottled it -- just don't realize it yet. 🙂
-
Happen to agree with both here. Isn't it the point tho? the idea is to always improve your side, not take a huge step back because of .... reasons.
-
The question folks need to be asking is, "would a different manager have answers with this squad?" How certain are you? Also, would that include having a say in the transfer window? Because I've read that Poch did not have that (not sure he even wanted it tbh).
-
Speaking of which, for folks who think it's all down to mentality and/or experience level, Hazard was likely one of the players I've ever seen with the worst mentality on the pitch (and some off of it too). He happened to ooze quality tho esp ball control, which was Messi'esque. Nice practice session for Arsenal. Will help them with confidence levels for the next matches. Good job Chels! 🙂

Yes, he may be an average manager at this level. However, do you honestly think a 5x0 with this performance is exclusively down to the manager?!
-
The project is in full swing and working as expected. Stay calm and enjoy the ride. 😅
-
I guess the no-Cole test was successful. I mean we now know what this team can do without him... not a whole lot.
-
Sterling should have started... don't care for any other reasons. He'd at least hold to the ball better than Muddy. Noni was actually decent at that -- only lost possession a couple of times in this match. Just think Noni does not do enough in attack at this level. We just need better starters.
-
Believe in "the project." 😉
-
Mudryk was bizarre on this game. I know it may sound repetitive, but his performances are too. You just can't do so little doing a match like this. Embarrassing stuff.
-
I honestly believe our form has little to do with Poch, but not making changes until the 66" would be enough for me to hand him the papers.
-
I don't disagree -- it did look like a foul, but it was't called. You don't stop defending waiting for a free kick call.
-
It was probably a foul, but once it’s not called then defend!
-
Oh well it was coming.

Very lucky being in the game still. caicedo is having a good game, but rice is having a great game. wow another chance stopped by petrovic.
-
I think they are, specially in attack and D and..... their bench is a lot better too. The latter is an absolute must for long championships. Can't see Noni or Mudryk anywhere near this Arseal squad for ex. Jackson is still our most dangerous player despite how awful he is in front of the goal--that header/handball was bizarre to say the least. Disasi would not have the pass ability to play in a system like Arsenal's.
-
Complete dominance — looking pretty ugly so far.
-
great play by rice.

I was afraid of what -- some players are likely not 100% given the effort on Saturday. It's good to field test some players tho. Let's see what they can do, or not eh. @Vytis33 I don't think that's a Poch decision. Players coming from long-term injuries are treated differently by the physios.
-
I do not see such great performances. It was a good strategy and it worked to some degree with some clever counter-attacking which produce some chances -- they also had plenty of chances to score. We still lost all the same tho. We can discuss how much of it was their fatigue vs our good game plan. I have my own ideas based on what I saw on the pitch. 🤷♂️ You are also comparing a single-elimination clash with a league game. Do you think the preparation, effort level, and intensity are the same? There is also traveling involved in CL. Our game against City was not like a league game either, but we did not play OT and no travelling involved. Would totally understand if we are not 100% today, at least some players, but having a younger squad helps in this particular case. For ex both Cole and Fodden are struggling with fitness for pretty obvious reasons.
-
You see long championships like the PL have something called the standings. Where the very best teams usually appear at the top, esp once a lot of it has already been played. you evidently chose to ignore what city went through to play us. So, you will also ignore the fact Palmer can’t play just like Haaland couldn’t.

I will check it out and hope he mentions the “unknown unknowns”, which is what I find severely missing in all these predictions. I will remain very skeptical on this. Although I have to admit that it certainly seems more fun than to discuss where the next nuclear bomb will detonate.

I don’t know many things, but these are pretty familiar to me especially exponential growth, given it’s something that pertains my daily work. Many algos have exponential growth relative to the dataset. generativeness I learned when I was 15 when I studied a stupid language called prolog, which was supposed to be the AI language — ML engines were all written in C despite the promises. These predictions are BS and that’s an opinion—no facts here. It’s actually pretty fucking ironic that an event so unique and new is so easy to predict (and far into the future) by your friendly YouTuber. the jobs will exponentially vanish tho. Industrial Revolution on steroids.
