This is the worst United side I’ve seen. I don’t think it’s a manager problem and rather a roster problem. And it’s not just the lack of quality, but also the lack of balance: age, characteristics, mentality… they will prob still find a goal and tie this, but boy… it’s poor.

There is no hate. At this level players are good enough or they aren’t; they fit in the system or they don’t. I’m not a fan of Felix’s game tbh, but I much rather have him on the roster than having kids as options like last season when Mudryk was a starter… still Felix is a creative type, not a player who will provide volume of play esp in a match like this. Thought KDH was a CM player never a Palmer backup; he is more of an Enzo backup if anything.

Agreed. Which is reason I wasn’t crazy about the signings. At that age, for us, the player needs to be really special, or at least very premature in development, or he won’t play. I did not expect guiu to play and I have to assume he has not been impressing in training. The PL is a tough league to develop in. It’s either the toughest league in the world or it isn’t, so when we make the claim that it is, would it make sense for a club like Chelsea to start 19yos who have not really shown anything yet? so, I have to trust the manager that he does not see PL players in those youngsters just yet. Can’t imagine the club signed them for immediate impact tbh.
