This is the worst United side I’ve seen. I don’t think it’s a manager problem and rather a roster problem. And it’s not just the lack of quality, but also the lack of balance: age, characteristics, mentality… they will prob still find a goal and tie this, but boy… it’s poor.

There is no hate. At this level players are good enough or they aren’t; they fit in the system or they don’t. I’m not a fan of Felix’s game tbh, but I much rather have him on the roster than having kids as options like last season when Mudryk was a starter… still Felix is a creative type, not a player who will provide volume of play esp in a match like this. Thought KDH was a CM player never a Palmer backup; he is more of an Enzo backup if anything.

Agreed. Which is reason I wasn’t crazy about the signings. At that age, for us, the player needs to be really special, or at least very premature in development, or he won’t play. He could perhaps be a better alternative than nkunku yeah Felix was a weird one; I suspect the club leadership got scared, like I did, with the lack of depth in attack last season.

I did not expect guiu to play and I have to assume he has not been impressing in training. The PL is a tough league to develop in. It’s either the toughest league in the world or it isn’t, so when we make the claim that it is, would it make sense for a club like Chelsea to start 19yos who have not really shown anything yet? so, I have to trust the manager that he does not see PL players in those youngsters just yet. Can’t imagine the club signed them for immediate impact tbh.

Think he’s a good/decent player at this time. Perhaps the niggling injuries have hindered his development, but I don’t see a great player there just yet. he’s young tho, so plenty of time to get there and he does have good skill on the ball. Our system relies a lot on Caicedos ability to cover—he’s really good at that. Enzo is more of a luxury player, so we need the base to work. could’ve done without the mistakes at the back today too.

agreed. It’s easy to say what if’s in hindsight. Now we know he had nothing to lose, but at the time he did have something to lose by opening up even more. lets not forget that Fulham have plenty of quality players. For ex, Brazil are not what they used to be, but bad players don’t get called up by being poor players: Andreas pereira is always there for ex.

He is what he is. He’s a good player for these exact type of games. I don’t think he was particularly great today, but even when he’s off he delivers the defensive work. we had quite a few players below level today, like sancho.
