Honestly, break the fucking bank for this guy. BREAK THE FUCKING BANK! Association trained, a fucking BEAST, 21, exactly what we need. Just do the PSG and make the bid!
-
Calm down fanboy. We're excited about what the transfer fee could lead to! I'm never attached to players just the badge... If the club see Mata and/or Luiz as surplus to requirements and use the transfer kitty to re-invest into the club then I'm all for it. £50m can buy at least 2 Luiz's or one Pogba!
-
Recovery time from a hamstring injury? I mean if you're gonna call someone dimwitted you should review what you wrote first. They rushed him back to play...
-
I just wonder if you say things just to be controversial? Like what? How about his 28 La Liga goals is that a warning too?
-
What a load of horseshit. Jose knows how to win, that's what he's trying to build here. We brought him back because we trust his evaluation of talent. We sold Mata and bought Matic and still made a profit. Salah for DeBruyne also makes sense to me mainly because he is cool with coming off the bench and doesn't have an immense ego. He fast too... We are on the brink of building one of the most complete squads in the world all we need is a true CF(Costa) and a ball mover in the engine room(Pogba??) with José Mário dos Santos Mourinho Félix at the helm. Nothing but great feelings and exciting times ahead as far as i'm concerned!
-
Here's what I'm excited about. - 40-50m means if a target comes up we will have no problem generating the funds necessary to purchase(Vidal, Pogba, Cesc, Rakitic) - Chelsea are now selling for profit! - Gives room for youngsters to come in and apply themsleves (Kalas, Zouma, Chalobah, Ake) - Ivanovic is now utility defender (RB,CB) - Someone else will be given free kick duties If this isn't enough of a reason to be elated I don't know what is. David is a fantastic footballer but for the fee being bandied about I'm pretty sure everyone at Chelsea is damn chomping at the bit to sign this deal. We have CB sorted and DM we have Matic and need something else there, this deal helps us get there.
-
And its clear they want it done before the World Cup starts. Naming rights will play a huge part.
-
Di Marzio = lying moron. The Sun = tabloids Daily Mail = Constant Fail Sky Bet closed the betting on Cavani, Rooney and Falcao... I wouldn't get my hopes up dude, seems a little farfetched if you ask me.
-
You really believe that? PSG just got sanctioned by UEFA there is no way they're going to spend £50m on a player weeks after getting slapped. Silly season people, in about two weeks you'll forget this rumour was even mentioned.
-
Demba Ba—"Jose Mourinho has asked me to stay next season and he assured me my situation would change." Demba Ba—"I see this as my reward from God. I want to play a lot of matches and I think that will be the case for me." Ba on #AFCs failed bid to sign him last summer—"Mourinho refused to let me go. He did not want to help a rival team get stronger."
-
Its a strain not a tear
-
He's rumoured to be on 70k per week... you think he's actually worth 140k? Nah... Nope Never. The most i'd give him right now is 100k and that's on a 5 yr deal
-
I don't dislike him, think he brings good skills to the pitch, what I'd be wary of is his ability to win the ball back and get us out on the counter. If his wage demands are too much for Bayern chances are they're WAAAAAAAY too high for us. He'd look good on a possession based team not sure he's the kind of guy that could initiate the counter.
-
What sort of contract do you give him?
-
You're making a mountain out of a mole hill dude. He addressed the elephant in the room big deal...
-
I think you've gone off the deep end. What he's said is not hard for any footballing fan to deduce, he has been incredible in his team at Atletico and would be the No.1 keeper at every club in the world with the exception of maybe 3 or 4. The answer to the question according to you is remain aloof and ignore the elephant in the room. Cool, your approach, I still fail to see how what he's said has put the club in a bad position or makes him look like an asshole... Its true, we all know it and whether or not he says it doesn't change it from being a fact. He can say whatever he likes so long as he's not slagging the club. I don't see why you folk have a problem with what he's said as if its going to damage the club in some way? I decision will be taken this summer no matter what he says and the smart decision is to sell Cech in January after Courtois has proven he can play in the Prem. The reason why its such a contentious topic is because its a rare case. Two of the top five keepers in the world on one team! Obviously a decision has to be made.
-
I'm gonna assume you're joking.
-
I'm pretty sure he won't be back at Chelsea. I had the pleasure of seeing him score the hat trick at the bridge against Utd. That memory will stay with me for a lifetime....
-
clown...
-
LOL. Find me a professional athlete that doesn't!! What a load of horseshit.
-
One player will not change the outlook of the league. He is a fantastic player but the packages that sell the league do not feature Yaya in it... As a matter of fact if you will allow me to get on my soapbox for a minute, no black players are highly advertised in this league. Yaya is mentioned in circles but not nearly as highly as Aguero or Silva. Hell even Steven Gerrard got more consideration for player of the year! hahaha
-
Why would Jose take offense to something he was clearly in the wrong about? Doesn't matter how long ago it was, Eto'o kept quiet until after the season in an effort to not cause unrest/disharmony in the dressing room. I would much rather him come out now than then! He's basically trying to get another contract and his age has been discussed at length of course he's going to dispel the rumours against him.
-
Well the likelihood seems quite high especially because we need homegrown talent and will only really require one striker on the bench. He could be the Ba of this year, making the bench every now an then, getting the odd start... I'm not opposed to it, we have to start blooding in some of these youngsters, Carlo was the only one to give them a chance. I just hope it doesn't mean Lukaku is out would much rather it be Torres with Costa and Lukaku brought in. Not exactly the same as having Mandzukic, Costa and Lukaku but I'm equally excited about having the youth get a chance as I am about stocking the shelves to make a real run at the Prem/CL
