If it takes Pogba 4 yrs to reach his potential I'm willing to wait, its a team game after all and beyond that I'm not starved for success I just want to see the team grow and reach its full potential. Pogba may not have been the most consistent player at Juve, I'll take your word for it since I don't watch them that much but you would be hard-pressed to convince me he wouldn't make a significant contribution to this Chelsea team now even with the these 'inconsistencies' that seem to plague most young footballers. To be honest with you we need to be better at spotting talent and developing it, buying finished articles can be an expensive practice in football these days. Look at Luiz if you want evidence of that.

Dude, a 21 yr old is going to have bad games... Hell a 29yr old will have bad games! And how do you rate consistency? I haven't watched a lot of Juve this year but by all accounts he was probably their most consistent player this year and that's saying A LOT. He was man of the match 6 times, only two less than Hazard. I don't think age matters here I want a player who has the potential to be the best in the world, not someone who will fade a few years down the line. Pogba has everything if you ask me, size, power, technique, speed, finish... you don't get that from a 21 yr old very often, he is the full package and looks like he will only get better. We would be idiots to have a need in midfield and not have him near the top of the list of potential acquisitions.

Precisely what I think, he wasn't even our first choice player anywhere. We just have to use the money to invest in areas that can immediately aid our XI. Midfielder, Striker, LB. Pogba, Costa, Rodriguez... We'd be the most complete squad in the world.

I can assure you you're in the minority when you say you say he's not good enough defensively or offensively. He has been brilliant and has shown maturity well beyond his age. You say you've watched him at Juve but I'm questioning what you're watching? In the games I've seen him in he's been fantastic! He's a BIG part of the reason Juve ran away with Serie A.
