  1. Manures are just waiting on the counter. They do not need to score.
  2. Nothing special so far. Is this the GAME as Jose predicted ?
  3. Just by reading about Manure´s aim for treble it makes me support REAL more & more. Hopefully, REAL wins it tonight. If REAL won´t, maybe Jose gets fired & comes to Chelsea even sooner ?
  4. Well, we have seen depleted Chelsea´s bench this year. 2-3 players bought in the summer & 2-3 recall just might be what the team needs, I feel. Chelsea needs a full bench, which means 25 players to compete for PL, CL, FA & so on, next year
  5. Not only Jose would be my choice but also Benat, Fellaini & Jovetic I would like to see on the team next year. Also, some recalls like Chalobah, KDB, Piazon & most of all Lukaku.
  6. Well, thanks for your opinion. However, if I were you, I would be more subtle about it. Rafa is not well liked around these threads.
  7. How important is it for Chelsea to win in this game ? I believe Rafa should rest key players here, play for a draw, if possible. Come back to the Bridge & play the best against Manure. Don´t forget, Chelsea are playing on Thursday & Sunday. Then on next week´s Thursday against Bucharest. If Chelsea can manage a draw or even a loss by one goal, then the team may knock them out. Beaten Manure, Bucharest knocked out, happy days are here again...
  8. When one looks at Spurs´ schedule & knowing their previous years´ slump at the end of their seasons, I believe Spurs will falter. If Chelsea wins 8 games out of remaining 10, we should finished in top four places.
  9. AVB has helped to get Bale going. Spurs without Bale would be in 5-6 place. Therefore, to applaud AVB for job well done is too early.
  10. Well, the above poster asks whether Emenalo is well fit for DOF in comparison to others. If I may, shouldn´t we look at the current Chelsea to see what he has done ? Chelsea´s bench half empty, fat Rafa standing in front of it, & most players would rather sit home because they are gasping for their last breath. Well, that just about sums up his expertises. Just one little thing I... From CL winners to laughing stock in 10 months, that is the real story with Chelsea. Rafa´s breakdown is the symptom, not the condition.
  11. I will ? There I won´t suffer from watching Chelsea´s games ? I see Chelsea´s DOF is well qualified, after all. I mean girls´ team in America is nothing to sneeze at.
  12. The presence of a director of football acts as an intermediary between the manager and the board and may relieve pressure on a manager by handling aspects away from day-to-day coaching, allowing a manager to focus on on-pitch performance. The director may also help to stabilise the club AS CHELSEA ONE HAS DONE – many examples exist of director stepping in as a caretaker manager on the departure of the manager. The director – often an experienced football figure – may also positively advise a less experienced manager or the board of a less well developed club. In contrast, there are many examples of tensions arising between director and manager, often due to questions over the remit and powers of the two positions; particularly with regard to control over transfer policy. This had led to many well publicised and often, highly damaging disputes within clubs.
  13. If Chelsea does not secure top four this season = no Jose. He will not come to a club to potter around in EL competition.
  14. Well, that´s the biggest trouble. Many are saying the job is over his head. As we all know, his scouting is impeccable. I mean, just look at the kids he helped to sign for Chelsea. Was he the one who insisted on Rafa, as I read he was, then he messed up royally. By the way, are you going to the game vs WB ?
  15. Can you help me here ? What does one need to become the football director at any club & then at Chelsea ?
  16. Well, certainly a lot more than just scouting one, I feel.
  17. Owners, managers & players may come & go, but the one constant presence at any football club is its fans. Surely it is never going to help Rafa, bring good results if he is sending out his team to play in such a bad atmosphere or am I missing something here ?
