Jose here, there & ...? During 90 minutes vs Starta Ferda had 4 clear chances to score but he did not convert them. His timing is way off. Will it ever get better ? I doubt it. One goal in his last 14 games is just not acceptable. Ferda had caused more pains for Chelsea than any other player I know of over the years. Something must be done with him at the end of the season. The club cannot rely on him anymore.

Those who believe in Chalobah are correct. According to Zola, he has been a very good surprise. At 18 he already made 25 league & cup starts, scoring 4 goals in his first season as a professional. An admirable feat, many feel. From my point of view, I am hoping he won´t be wanted to fill a void at Stamford Bridge next season.

I am a bit surprised to see the above poster using such an eloquent tongue to describe Chelsea team. One might agree about Ramires though. Personally, I do not think he is much help in the middle. He cannot score, his defensive work is too erratic, most of the times I saw him playing rough tackling...however he makes up for it by his relentless stamina. Well, was Sparta unlucky to win last night ? Perhaps, Chelsea were unlucky to convert their chances, then ?

Despite of current Chelsea problems of converting clear chances, I believe & I hope the team just might knick it here. Either that or they are getting whipped on Sunday. Hopefully with BA up front he can score. This game just might tell us whether Chelsea will finish in 2nd place or not.

Why is it that most of you blame Rafa for the incompetence of Chelsea players not being able to convert those clear chances ? Was it another lucky escape or was it another tactical switch of masterful proportions by Rafa ?

Chelsea played decent game last night. Chances were created but not converted, mainly by Ramirez, Torres. However Sparta played much better than in Prague. Perhaps, EL trophy could be a stepping stone for a lot of young Chelsea players, Hazard, Oscar... If top four places in PL are secured, winning EL trophy could be some sort of satisfaction for this unsuccessful season.

Chelsea are playing against Bucuresti.
