  1. No you misread. Sure if he signs now after all this, he will be regarded as equal. But if he stayed low and quietly signed a month ago, he wouldnt get a sniff.
  2. I dont think he is a douche. Maybe he could take it for another year or so, because he is still young, but then again hungry players never want to rest and thats proper mentality. He is seriously ambitious if he just wants to move. We had number of kids who stayed here to wait and wait. Until it was too late. If he was getting playtime and still wanted to leave, ok a douche. But he has massive talent and didnt get a look in PL while manager picks underperforming Willian week in week out. Thats our fault. Maybe if he stays, all this forced club to see how talented CHO is and he will play more. But before the club didnt see it and nothing would change if CHO extended contract. He would continue to warm the bench for next 2 years until loaned out.
  3. Sad part is that our options Hazard aside are bad. City at least has gazilion of top players in Sancho or Diaz position. Yeah, they lost those two but they have incredible options. We have ¥÷&*#$$&@ Willian and Pedro (who is still good, but getting old). Odoi should be integrated much earlier in the season, but we kept playing underperforming Willian. City didnt play underperformers ahead of Diaz or Sancho. No vision from our board is pathetic. If anyone thinks Salah, Kdb were one mistake, it happens, no one could predict their rise....BS. The board is plain idiotic and same is happening with CHO.
  4. If the club feels ban is incoming, we should splash whatever to get top striker. That is absolute priority.
  5. Birsa doesnt play in same spot. But Cagliari also made deal with Boca for Nandez who is b2b like Barella.
  6. Ha. The club needs to learn from it. Baloneys. They wont learn shit in a million years.
  7. Well tbh we are far cry from 2005-2010 generation. Back then english football was on top and not only that, we were on top of english football too. Sure we didnt have that star squad as some other teams, but we had perhaps the most efficient one. Anyone who came to SB knew its going to be incredibly hard. IMO we have slowly drifted away. We got two pl titles recently, but then again no CL twice too. We dont have that consistency anymore, even if there were some good results. Spurs and Liverpool operate differently than us. They managed to create top teams with Poch and Klopp. Sarri isnt one to build squads, he just works with what we have. Conte or Mou didnt get the backing. And our board doesnt have dof. So some sort of project is definately off the table because there is no person to drive it unlike with Poch or Klopp. Thats why I dont think we can just replace Hazard. Even if we do, what difference will it make? Player for player policy wont make us stronger. The club has to start investing in another star player, regardless of Hazard situation. Kepa was great buy indeed. Morata was a flop. That said we are losing star players and if we lose Hazard and have another Morata fiasco its going to be giant problem. We should bring someone on Hazard level before Hazard leaves. That will make the transition acceptable. But right now, we dont have anyone and playing with fire that we can get replacement easily could backfire big time.
  8. The club has been in decline when it comes to replacing players with each season though. Obviously chelsea will move on, but I dont think we will be as competitive. Either we do best, keep Eden and sign another star player or sell Hazard, buy someone else and have another 2 year transition period. Its all about showing intent how competitive we want to be. Because when it comes to replacing best players we realy suck in recent years. Tottenham moved nicely after losing Bale and Modric. But who knows how good they would be with them, see the point? Same with Liverpool and Suarez. Who says they wouldnt have Mane, Firmino, Salah and Suarez in line up right now, tearing the europe apart. But at least they managed to continue just fine. I doubt we can do the same. We just dont have the project idea or clear future plan like they did. Its more make it or break it with us. Some deals come good and some end up disaster. But there is no consistency. Barca didnt manage to replace Neymar either.
  9. This isnt 2007 when we could sell Robben and not miss anything because we still had Lampard and Drogba. Do people even watch Chelsea? Hazard is still the only attacker that is actualy reliable. Sure we can go game or two without, but who will take the lead in this team in attack if there is no Hazard? Who is reliable enough? No one. Even new signing(s) will have to be near perfect to replace him. Odds for that are small. I mean sure if Eden is nailed to leave, then lets get as much cash for him as possible. But thats a problem for us still. Its no "as long we get big money its fine". We have been spending big money on completely wrong players. Bakayko, Drinks, Morata,... People werent bothered when Costa left. We didnt replace him yet despite splasing alot of cash. Money in chelsea bank for us fans means nothing. It means nothing in sport competitions. Its all about winning. And we can win easier with Eden than with bunch of cash in the bank. If anyone thinks we will be fine if Eden leaves, they are naive. It might happen if he wants to leave, but hopefuly people realise its going to hurt us like a motherf*cker. There is zero chance the board gets equaly good replacement.
  10. Ohh ffs he doesnt have any personal issues per se. Check his insta he has a perfect private life with kids and wife. He is just bitching about Zola saying what is true. I mean he has zero confidence since last december, but what the f*ck has he done to improve? You work hard, you fight for the team. If he did that, half the people wouldnt be arsed about his lack of goals. But all he does is sulk on the pitch, roll on the ground and drags his ass around like its sunday league. If you lose confidence, you can have massive problems with finishing indeed. But it doesnt stop you from showing passion for the club and work for the team. Morata is a ghost and looks like he doesnt give a flying feck. Cant have any sympathy if he does that. Hell I can imagine him scoring two against some forrest will make him think " see im great striker while zola and everyone talks shit about me, fuck them". No mate your not. Head down and work hard. Maybe if he shows some passion, people wont be so hard on him.
  11. For all his faults, he is massive character. He might have shit game, but you cant say he didnt try his best. So vocal and direct. He just has that old school mentality althrough his skill isnt always at best. When his performances are on top though, he is just brilliant. He has been good passer always, but this season he is plain world class. Shame he loses concentration often, because in some games, he defends so rigorously, its a joy to watch. When people were writing him off, I always hoped he stays for his character and supporting contribution to the team. We should give him a new deal, because our team is becoming numb, we need some strong character like Luiz.
  12. Real talent. On left he dribbled, cut inside and took a shot, on right he dribbled and then made cross or pass. No nonsense bs like we see from Willian trying his weak foot and fuck things up. Very good decision making, he knows what to do in given situation. Whoever will give him regular playtime and develop his raw talent is getting some player. Hopefuly it will be us.
  13. It makes sense to cross well from right since its hit with his stronger foot
  14. Lol at this penalty...everyone was inside penalty area already, luke being miles of his line and Cesc stopping completely when he shouldnt.. Well done ref.
  15. Refs are doing bird box challenge for years
  16. Morata pointing at var when there is no var in this game...
  17. 100% agree they need to take chances. But here it doesnt matter how well they play today. They might have a cracker and Sarri will still go with underperforming Willian or Alonso for next 3 months. The trick is there must be some sort of reward. Sure they get game here and there and they have to be patient (it worked with RLC), but I feel they dont get enough trust and faith. Like the management team is very mechanic with the youngsters. Sometimes genuine faith in someone will give them more than ocassional game here and there. These kids need to believe they will be part of 11 one day and I dont think they do at chelsea. They aint stupid. Christensen has been tossed around ever since that barca fiasco and no one trusts him anymore.
  18. Yeah Fab needs to be replaced. Not sure how Barella fits the role, but maybe it will work. If Cesc is off, we need someone new. As for CBs we have 4 even without Cahill, so that should be enough for now. But I dont believe either Christensen or Ampadu will be willing to play 3rd and 4th choice for much longer. The club should obviously replace these with youth players. As you said CHO for Moses, Ampadu for Cahill. Mount for Drinks. But the club will probably feel they need more experienced backups. I just hope we dont lose these kids and then pay giant fees on new backup players (like what happend with Chalobah leaving and then we forked 40m on Drinkwater. Disaster).
  19. We will need some new players then for depth if they all leave (Moses, Cahill, Cesc, Drinks, maybe more?) And knowing Chelsea, they will overpay for every replacement. Resulting we wont be reinforcing our team with quality but quantity once more. At best we can hope for top striker eventualy, but top LB or CB wont happen.
  20. Raiola just said Psv doesnt want to sell in january and he will leave in summer. Could be bs or...
  21. Also I find it hilarious that Sarri keeps saying "we are short on options, Odoi injured etc" Pointing at Odoi injury in every interview. Just how convenient that Odoi got injured and suddenly we are out of depth. As if pre injury he was always playing or in plans, right? How many games he didnt even make the bench and wasnt injured?
  22. This situation is everything that is wrong with the club. Not trusting youth, not giving chances, slow in handling the deals, always waiting for the last minute. I get City didnt play Sancho, but they had top players on wings. We have jack shit and Odoi still doesnt get a sniff. But IMO its not even about playing time. Its about trust. Odoi is our biggest talent and I havent seen one bit of club doing anything to show any faith in him. Buying players like Pulisic,...sure a good player, but what does it tell Odoi? Big middle finger. Odoi knows club will always prefer shit out of form Willian compared to him. And they will always buy foreign players that will get instant privilege ahead of Odoi. Odoi might get a game or two, but regardless how he plays, he will sit next game because his name isnt Willian. If he leaves, I totaly understand. Hopefuly he stays, but move to a club with trust in youth might give massive boost to his career. I dont blame Odoi, but the board. Fucking pathetic.
  23. True. Having complete preseason and transfers done soon can make massive difference. Thats why some smaller teams that do business smart and soon end up ahead of those that spend shitload in the last minute. Same applies for best teams.
