AS i said, he scores goals regulary, but when he should do something vs barca or last year vs bayern, he fails... Fantastic striker, but VERY bad personality as he is cocky, arrogant and selfish. I dont want him here because of that, not because of football ability. ALso 100mio for 28 old player???

Spending close to 100mio (which means no other players) for a 28 year old who scores nearly every game, but fucks everything in big games because he is big ego? No thanks. He has no team play and is literaly shit in big games apart from scoring goals. He was responsible for Real exit vs bvb. He missed fantastic chance and his dribbles were patethic. He could get past bvb defence once but he kept dribbling instead of passing to other team mates...

Like it, but with Moutinho around, Oscar wont be starter in cm for ages...the actual prices might be higher (Moutinho 30mio, De rossi 25) Also, I still dont see us go past Mancity or bayer with Mata, Hazard, Sanchez and Moutinho all around 1.70 Due to possible high prices of Moutiho because porto loves to rip clubs and Rossi because he is roma boy, I would go with Vidal-Strootman. Vidal is going to be expensive, around 30-40mio but Strootman should go for as little as 15mio. Vidal is energetic ball winner while Strootman is calm ball passer and very strong too. Underrated. His runs are very good (similar to toure who makes those power drives through midfield). He has stamina and vision. Young enough to match our young project while Vidal is experienced. This pair will guarantee possession but most important pressure on opponent that we realy lack in midfield. Strootman 12mio£ Vidal 25mio£ + Marin/Torres/Essien Sanchez/Farfan for 18-23mio£ Cavani 40mio£ or Rooney/Lewa for 25mio Total of 100mio£ -------Cech------- -Azpi-Iva-Luiz-Cole --Strootman-Vidal-- Farfan-Mata-Hazard -------Cavani------

I would say that Midfielder (either a dm or cm, maybe mix like Vidal/Strootman/Witsel) is extremely important, maybe even more than striker. We scored like 100+ goals in all comps, but many games we got totaly dominated, because of shit midfield. No agression, no ball control etc. Yesteday vs benfica we had no midfield realy. 1.) Proper midfielder. I dont know, we need creator and destructor. Vidal or Bender are bit of both, but who will pair them? Moutinho is much better at deep playmaking, but then we still lack good dm (mikel is bad, rambo has no control, romeu was injured). Perhaps even both, cm and dm or very good mould of both. 2.) Striker ala cavani 3.) Winger 4.) Cb 4:3:3 is ok, but will Mata realy play as winger? Oscar-New dm-Rambo Mata-Striker-Hazard

Farfan would be wise buy. Not too expensive, but a top winger and rare one who knows how to cross. Due to time in psv, he become very good passer too (for a winger), and offers hard working and tracking with timed tackles. Bad thing is his similar style to other players. He cant offer long shots, neither is he proven scorer. It depends what we want realy. With someone like farfan, we can play fast passing/possession play but isnt a plan B like Schurrle is. Still, his experience is imprtant and having him in team would add technique to the team even further.

He would be exclent in swaping with luiz. When luiz would go forward, De rossi would cover the defence.

By the time this match comes, we will have few new players in team and with some top newcomers, bayern wont have easy job... Unless they bottle it and we play bvb which isnt that unlikely...bvb is only team that can stand against bayern and wont get bit scared.

Fuck yeaaaaaaaa!!! Finaly the forum is working again Im sooo happy that memebers with bad feelings were completely wrong :) Lamps with THAT projectile and Iva with top header!!! Torres like his old self (to bad this wont show in next games) but still wow. Imn first half ww were completely missing, no creativity, no fighting, just sitting on counters...fatigue got to us, but also mentality. Benfica was all over us, but second half we improved largely. Mata started to lead our line, defence was tidy. Must say that Matic impressed me, he shown a quality of Dm who drives forward and is all over the pitch. He had some bad challenges vs Ramires, but this was final and no time to be friendly. Much better than any DM we have now. He is physicaly superb and his ball control is wonderful too. I will stop praising him now lol I dislike our approach to game I would have to say. We sit back and play on counters but when we have such talented footballers its realy weird. Benfica was technicaly superior and we couldnt make two passes. Hazard was missed, as was midfield destructor/playmaker. This has to improve next year for sure. BUT what I hate is 80 % people are blaiming us again. That we parked the bus, that we were worse than any team, disgrace to play in finals, realy lucky, etc... Again our team gave feeling that we won unattractive and one more year, most of people will see chelsea as Anti-football club... fuck off haters! Truth is that we should dominate the game with players we have (or at least try it) but we didnt. Still we had no Hazard and 70 matches behind, but people wont understand... But we fucking won the trophy and I couldnt be more happy about it right now, it was nice evening once again, now lets get celebrating

We dont run and fight for ball. We have no creativity in attack. No teeth in penalty area. No service from midfield. Bench doesnt offer anything special either... Hoping on best in second half...

I hope we wont miss Hazard, Terry, Romeu, Bertrand too much... This short bench with alternative lineup is very questionable. But on other hand, Benfica will still feel porto defeat I think...
