Literaly this was what people were saying before Emerson improved. Its all about seeing what you want to see. Abraham destroyed second league, so its hard to say he isnt talented. Maybe he will never be good, but to write him off after two games is complete bollocks. I remember people people writting Kdb and Salah off too, saying they will never be good enough for us. And sometimes even managers make big mistakes. I mean Giroud will never ever improve and be important player here. Abraham has a tiny chance to become good. In a season where we dont have much options, I dont see a reason why not test most of our young players. If one explodes, that means we save millions next summer and strenghten elsewhere. But if everyone judged players based on two games, we would still be playing with the likes of Alonso. Safe options and all. Complete turds though.

People say stuff too soon all the time. The case with Emerson is the most evident one People shat on him after few bad games but hbe improved massively. Yeah I think Michy should get his chances too. Its not like we have superb strikers in our team.

I think it was rather stupid tbh. They invested all Griezmann money in one player coming from one good season. And if he flopped, its big mistake. If he explodes as expected, he will likely leave to Barca/Real/etc eventualy. It always takes balls to take gambles, but Felix for 120m or so is probably the stupidest deal ever. You get world class player for that money.

We have been conceding left and right last season, this preseason and will probably through this season too. Its not just Azpi fault. Nor AC nor Zouma nor Luiz nor Alonso. Defending is collective and the have all been at fault more than once. That goes to our midfield too because Jorginho and Kovacic are rather shit because they get caught up almost every game. As long we have that kind of players in the team, we will continue to concede. It wont help if we just drop this or that player. The only worthy defenders here are Rudiger and Emerson with AC having somewhat of potential. Zouma was brilliant for Everton, but I dont know what the hell happend with him because he fucks it up every time. He was always questionable in possesion but if someone compared him last season with our defenders, he was probably the best at defending.

We were efficient simple as. Today United was efficient, but we were unlucky with those bars. Playing pretty means jack shit if you aint efficient and luck has little to do with it in the long term.

We have to give them games. The sooner the better. We will improve. Some players will return from injuries. It will be much better then because today we were unlucky as fuck and we played well. In a way I agree but Luiz was never good enough to be reliable CB longterm and this season being season to test things out, showing Luiz the door is the right time.

Thats arsenal job. We have sold a couple players but neither Arsenal or United ever realy benefited from them. They just forked shitload of cash for past it players and never realy got great results in return. But I agree we should sell Luiz for 20m given we play in PL and selling to rival.

Pep teams were always suspect in defense and when you throw a brave team that wont just get humiliated, Pep is in trouble. Because he has his one plan and it works 95% of time because opponents shit their pants before match even starts. But in CL, opponents have more character. Thats why he struggles in CL and marches through PL. But you always need strong defensive performance against Pep team. Not pragmatic per se, but still solid. Or they run rings around and you are done.
