  1. Bertrand retires. One of the heroes from Munich Only player still active from that game is David Luiz playing back in Brazil. Romeu was among the subs and he's at Barca now
  2. Only natural to wait and see your options. There was a report that said CIty are happy to go into next season with the same squad if there are no outgoings. If that's true, we are in with a good chance.
  3. At this point, I'd keep Lukaku over another young striker.
  4. Not necessarily because of the brother. But London might be a factor. Since he's from there.
  5. It is not yet confirmed United under INEOS will offer sky high wages. On even wage offers, we are still in this deal. His brother plays for Chelsea too
  6. I was thinking this too. Good time to play City first up. We have just Mudryk, Cucu, Caicedo, Enzo who are playing a serious part in continentals + its good that the next few fixtures after City are easier.
  7. Palace have given the green light to speak to Olise, according to Athletic
  8. He is excellent. I'd love him in midfield. Have zero hopes though.
  9. Is Estevao Willian deal announced ?
  10. Fair. There have been top players who’ve been chucked straight in - Fabregas, Bellingham, Pedri etc but since both Estevao and Paez are coming over to Europe for the first time it’s only fair they’re integrated over a couple of years
  11. Wonder if Strasbourg route was not convincing enough for his reps. Until last week there were quotes from the player saying it’s almost done
  12. If Estevao and Paez are both THAT good, then why are we signing a RW in Olise this summer? Can easily continue with Palmer and Noni
  13. Even Osimhen is in that situation. Valued too highly now after that new contract and release clause. Clubs have stopped spending like they were doing in 2022-23.
  14. The handling of Colwill by Clearlake has been spot on. Still think he could turn into a great CB
  15. He has worded it ambiguously. doubts have emerged over whether Olise would favour a move there when there is also interest from Arsenal, Bayern, Newcastle and both Manchester clubs. I don't think he has clear info on what Olise is thinking hence worded it as "doubts have emerged"
  16. Hope he has a blinder. Can't believe Broja might have a 20m + market still.
  17. Tbh, we are competing pretty well with Arsenal, Liverpool, United despite having only Conference League. City's pull will reduce with Pep leaving.
  18. That's the thing with football - in a couple of years, this list will get upended and a completely new set of names will be here. Want the directors to seriously look into roster formation. Sign experience to keep the professionalism up at the club during a good run, keep heads up if we hit bad form.
  19. Ideally Broja as their backup CF But looks like they might do a deal with Roma for Tammy for that role - which makes sense and has upside for them. Would be okay with Chalobah or Chilwell going there since they're looking for LBs (Digne and Moreno both 30+ and might leave)
  20. In 2026 we'll have Palmer, Noni, Omari, Paez, Angelo, Estevao and (Olise) - competing for the RW spot.
  21. This is great. United spending 70m on a mid-tier CB + Everton will get the funds to pay for Broja.
  22. This is the crucial bit. Unless City get involved, I think we are very much in this.
  23. Ornstein reporting we are prepared to meet ~£60m release clause
  24. Yep, those 3 and McKenna according to Athletic.
