  1. Clearlake outmanoeuvred. Good move for Arsenal if they can close the deal. Upgraded Kiwior/Zinchenko at LB for a decent price. Lack of transfer developments from us this week coinciding with Neil Bath/Fraser leaving, complete restructuring of the youth setup going on.
  2. Not too worried we missed on Olise and Calafiori. They're not once-in-a-generation kind of players. Plenty of players we can still sign and complete the team.
  3. Would rather get Pedro Neto. Cheaper and is a really good winger.
  4. Great. Especially glad Rishi is booted out. His father-in-law is an Indian millionaire known for advocating that people should work 70 hrs a week. The whole family is a group of insufferable pricks
  5. The real story is why they walked. Especially when we are on the verge of closing the deals for some of the top 50 teenagers on the planet - Paez, Estevao, Anselmino,
  6. I agree. Hell of a risk letting Neil Bath/ Fraser walk. We will lose a lot of the knowledge of the young players coming through around London. I'm reading Joe Shields and Sam Jewell are taking their roles. The new U21 coach is from Portugal, brought in to play possession tactics.
  7. Fabrizio is saying only two clubs in talks for Calafiori - Arsenal and Chelsea in that order as of now. Long-term proposal made by Arsenal. Chelsea are still there.
  8. Think its because Calafiori is a unique opportunity. We might stick with Chilwell if we can't get him
  9. Yup. Our powerpoint presentation is persuasive but it does not always work.
  10. Have to add - Di Marzio has been wrong recently. He said talks are progressing well over Carney loan to AC Milan with an option to buy. This story was then shot down.
  11. Di Marzio is saying Arsenal are favorites for Calafiori. Chelsea, Bayer have also moved for him.
  12. There will be 4 if we sign a striker (David)
  13. I don't care as long as he's working on tactical setups, training drills and convincing Calafiori to join.
  14. They had to do that to secure his signing. They'll take one look at him and loan him. Will sign a striker.
  15. Looks like Calafiori is the target to replace him. That sounds good to me. My only consideration with Calafiori was that it would block Colwill's game-time. If he's being looked at as a hybrid LB/LCB then its 2 strong LB options in Cucurella and Calfiori and crazy depth in CB.
  16. That is a LOT of players to shift. Loans - Slonina, Alfie, Humphreys, Ugochukwu, Omari, Deivid, Guiu Sell - Kepa, Trevoh, Sarr, Chilwell, Connor, Casadei, Moreira, Anjorin, David Fofana, Broja, Lukaku,
  17. Matt Law said that the club will assess in pre-season and then take a call later in the window if they need to go into the market. Sanchez, Kepa, Petrovic - Need to shift out 2 to get a keeper in. Slonina is also around after a loan in the Belgian league
  18. He has mentioned, yes but that was 2022. Arsenal have Jorginho now, one of the leaders in the Italian team + they're playing great consistently for a couple of seasons. I think its still very much possible he leans towards Arsenal.
  19. Crazy that Forest value Callum Hudson Odoi at 40m a year after we sold him for 5m.
  20. Glad. Lot of us feared the worst.
  21. Mainly that we have enough options + back Levi Colwill - Can take off the kid gloves with him soon I feel. He's a good CB even though Poch system didn't exactly show him to be.
  22. People knock him saying he was playing in the Championship but it is more beneficial he's had a year playing against low-block, small teams with Leicester because that's what it is going to be with Chelsea for a lot of the games in the Premier League. It is much better than signing a 'Premier League experienced' mid who's been playing counter attacking football with Brentford or Nottingham Forest.
  23. If Sancho agrees to a wage drop late in the window, he’s an option for LW
