  1. Never had any in the first place but yes Carragher was an old fashioned cunt
  2. there is a date in april beyond which yellow-card bans are not counted. must be past it
  3. The appeal of Gomez is that he can be our 'Dzeko'. If the management wants to integrate Lukaku into the first team next season, we need another striker at the club because 1. Lukaku cannot lead our attack all on his own for 40 games a season 2. We need depth even if Lukaku can lead our attack for 40 games a season How much would Gomez go for though? Anything higher than 20mil and I'll pass
  4. Jurgen Klopp is fearless. I appreciate that in a manager. If we want another new manager in 2014 or 2015, we should go for Klopp - considering his work at BVB between now and then ofcourse. as for now, i feel the difference in class between Jose and other candidates is very wide. It is a situation where, if we get Jose, we can mount a serious title challenge next year and if we don't, there is very little possibility of a title challenge
  5. Different markets to tap into now. A marquee signing this window can push it to the million mark
  6. The seniors notably missing from here
  7. Tancredi Palmeri on twitter: WOW! PSG would have agreed a 4 year deal with Cavani, according to Radio RMC. For those wondering, Radio RMC is always very well informed on PSG stuffs
  8. The players should be made to watch the DVD of the Liverpool game. Especially Injury time.
  9. A bit unnecessary on Bayern's part. They are a world-class striker away from making a dominant squad and they shell out 37mil on Gotze. Maybe Pep will use him as False 9?
  10. Bayern have pissed 37mil on him though. They really needed a World Class striker.
  11. Out of nowhere - Gotze joins Bayern. Not a bullshit rumour as well. It's OFFICIAL. Pep is walking into a manager's wet dream
  12. Right on time http://www.thefa.com/News/governance/2013/apr/luis-suarez-charge-liverpool-chelsea-ivanovic.ast edit: He'd be as daft as he looks to appeal against this
  13. I agree. I thought it was an exception rather than the rule itself i.e Mikel usually passes sideways but there he decided to launch it forward. that's why i mentioned it
  14. This is the point I was making on another thread. Late in a game, we drop deep and start clearing the ball and opposition keeps the constant pressure on us. Some of the fault is down to management. There is no proper plan in place to protect leads and some of it is down to the players' choices. More often than not, our players decide to bash the ball downfield than keep it and tick the play over and run the clock down. Liverpool is just the latest in plenty of cases like that and btw I do play football. Regularly
  15. then do you recall - very late in the game where Mikel twice launched the ball downfield than keep possession? At the time of watching it, I was so frustrated that we were not keeping the ball and then Mikel of all people goes and belts the ball straight to Reina from the half-way line. It is more like the exception than the rule itself but that was not very wise from Mikel.
  16. Psychologically speaking, Leadership is a BIG reason why we failed. Up until Carlo's reign, the squad was full of leaders/experienced internationals but now the squad is mentally fragile. Think back to October when we were on such a good run and everybody was happy. One loss to Man Utd and we caved. Lack of leadership is also the reason we've bottled so many leads this season. Once we lead in a game, we start losing every 50-50 challenge and the opposition will soon be all over us. How often did this happen with Lampard-Essien -Ballack etc? Very very rare. This is not a lobby for Lampard and Terry to play, mind you. They don't have the legs anymore. but lack of leadership is a HUGE reason for our cursed season.
  17. Exactly!in 2010, it came down to an easy run-in and Arsenal bottled it with only 1 win in their last 5 games. Wigan away - 2-0 up to 3-2 was possibly the hammer blow. their 4 remaining games now - United H - Not easy even if United don't maintain intensity. QPR A - Ok, This one is probably an easy 3-pointer Wigan H - Wigan are in another relegation shootout. They have stunned Arsenal at The Emirates remember Newcastle A - Again, edgy That's 2 or maybe 3 potential pitfalls in the remaining 4 games
  18. Nothing major. Reina took a long time before the penalty - drinking water etc. to unsettle Hazard but other than that not much. 3-4 mins at the most imo. 6 was over the top let alone 6:32
  19. Ok. Deep Breaths. Upon reflection, If we win vs Spurs, we will get 4th ...
  20. Even if we don't make CL, we will come back to the top. We won't turn into fuckin Liverpool. No way
