  1. Fenerbahce is a strange move. It's a great coup for them. I think United will retain Chicharito and sign another striker. They always have a good strike force
  2. Great decision by LvG to let RvP and Falcao go
  3. Yeah but the risk was still there in all those years. Injuries are not exact science. Like last season for example Cech made around 15(?) appearances . And a team like Chelsea plays a lot of crucial games - like vs Arsenal last season, Courtois got a concussion. If a top home-grown keeper like Begovic wants to sign for Chelsea, I would gladly take him.
  4. Would rather pay 8m for a safe pair of hands after years of watching Hilario, Turnbull etc
  5. They have bought two forwards and are looking to get Callejon as well by the looks of it. It's not Arda Turan's position that is in danger. If they do sign Callejon, I'm pretty sure that means Griezmann is leaving
  6. Griezmann was the one playing as striker
  7. http://www.insidespanishfootball.com/158290/atletico-madrid-negotiating-e15m-transfer-for-napolis-jose-callejon/ Vietto, Martinez and now Callejon. Right then, Griezmann is definitely leaving
  8. or Jose just didn't fancy him. No regrets letting him go but if Man City do sign him in this window, I think he could prove himself in England
  9. Sky Sports FootballVerified account‏@SkyFootball Barcelona will target Paul Pogba if Joan Laporta wins presidency
  10. Couldn't handle the rigours of the prem? More like he wasn't given the chance
  11. I think he's off to United. Apart from Herrera and Carrick, United don't have a midfielder.
  12. Etoó and Ibra? but yeah, can't think of any other. it's rare
  13. I'm hoping Cuadrado still has a shining reputation in Serie A. Throw him in as make-weight in the deal. Salah will go to Fiorentina. Why would Cuadrado and Salah both go to Juve and compete for the same position? As for Oscar, I still believe he will have strong seasons for Chelsea in his prime. Would not sell him
  14. Doubt anyone would mind if this deal fell through
  15. Won't tarnish his memory for me. Gave the club over 10 stable seasons as a goalkeeper, injuries aside. And particularly, that night in Munich. He was very assured in the shootout. Went the right way for all six penalties and saved three of them. His time at Arsenal will be hardly significant. Maybe a Capital One Cup somewhere
  16. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/33224243 United want Ramos and Schweinsteiger. Would be a star-studded lineup if they get both
  17. They will strengthen. But then, unlike Lampard's case, Chelsea have control over this transfer. I would hold off from selling Cech to them
  18. Worried by the lack of transfer activity. This time last year, Fabregas was signed, Costa and Luis were done deals.
  19. City won't sell him to us. He's going to Inter or Juve
  20. Not even close. the brief 2009 run under Hiddink was great too. The team beat Juventus, Liverpool and only lost to Barca on away goals that year. Won the FA Cup beating Arsenal and Everton. Overall, lost only one game - vs Spurs. I was pretty sure Hiddink would take over after Carlo left in 2011. Was very surprised by the appointment of Villas Boas.
  21. I would pick him up. Reus and Griezmann are better options but I don't think either of them are coming to the club. To the people pointing at his scratchy finishing - I think it's something that will develop. By the time he's 24-25 he'll be a big talent - something like Daniel Sturridge is now.
