6/10 from Gilmour. Started brightly and was leaping over players much taller than him to win headers. Few sloppy passes and absent from his position while defending sometimes. But don't think this was as bad as people are making it out to be. He fought well and was running down Palace players through out.

I don't think anything in particular happened. Would be really random for Jorgi to say he will leave during a lockdown period. We had two great performances without Jorgi before the lockdown. Lamps spoke about studying the games and tactics during the lockdown period. Possible he concluded that Jorgi leaves us vulnerable in defense.

This talk of loaning Fikayo would be justified if we had three quality centre back options. Surely one of Zouma, Christensen or even Rudi has to go. Hope this isn't a case of trying to accommodate players. Need to be cold and ruthless with decisions, aim for a fresh squad next season. If the thinking goes back to accomodating the CBs, Barkley and Alonso etc etc the squad will not improve

Moyes interested in Barkley. Hopefully, that discounts most of the price. I wouldn't pay more than 20m + Barkley and that is a generous upper limit
