  1. Worth exploring what the team would be like without Enzo at some point
  2. Long way to go though. PSG lost 3 and drew 1 of their first five games last season.
  3. Kane knows how to draw fouls - Bit naive from Caicedo - We are 2-0 down without playing particularly badly
  4. How long do we need to go on with Tosin-Chalobah? Surprised Josh has not had a look in since the opener vs Palace when he had a good performance
  5. Not sure how true this is given it was documented Graham Potter and GK coach Ben Roberts at West Ham were very interested in Sanchez before they spent on Hermansen
  6. James quotes from presser seems to confirm he's starting tomorrow
  7. Kenan Yildiz has just scored a good equalizer vs Dortmund
  8. We don't need more data to conclude selling Noni is a mistake particularly because they reinvested the same money in Gittens. We can revisit this in December or May and it won't change. People point to his G/A numbers at Chelsea but Noni was already a rather useful weapon against low blocks and is much further along in his development. There was no need to take on another young project if we were serious about challenging for trophies.
  9. Things have changed since City won. The pressure of winning points is spread out over more games now in UCL and that’s where we can afford to rotate The lower teams in PL have spent a ridiculous amount of money (even compared to seasoned CL teams like Atleti or Barca or Inter). We are looking at a very different schedule and difficulty levels between league, Europe compared to even 2-3 years ago You don’t see Liverpool or Arsenal - the two best teams in the league right now - rotating a lot in their league games, even against lowly opposition
  10. That approach won’t work. The quality of the English league is too high - we cannot afford to play passengers for a league game I would argue Europe is still where we need to play a lineup like the one today
  11. even before we have built any momentum with our gameplay
  12. Had a good game today. He was already showing here that he was a very useful weapon vs low blocks. Arsenal unfortunately look like they have a squad to compete this year. Pace, power and dynamism across the pitch
  13. Glad they are being careful with Lavia, Fofana and Reece
  14. I’ll take it - fifth choice midfielder got injured in internationals week. Could be lot worse than that
  15. Only explanation for backing out of the deal
  16. Emergency GK can be drafted in case of injury
  17. Josh doesn't need to be named I believe
  18. We are signing the Strasbourg captain Emegha in a year I believe. Facundo is just a stop-gap to give options in attack
