Sarri questioned this squad's mentality and then Lampard did too. Its a huge credit to Tuchel that in the last few months - there has been very little talk about mentality (other than after the FA Cup final) because his team has players willing to run themselves to the ground everywhere on the field - Mason, Kante, Rudiger, James, Chilwell, Werner. The quality, especially in attack, is frustratingly bad but I have quiet confidence that the team will turn up hungry to press City all over the pitch tomorrow just like the Madrid and Leicester games. It doesn't guarantee a win but it is suited to knockout football and even if City are slight favorites, this is so different from 2012. Chelsea is going into the final with a decent chance of winning.

I think Mount is an automatic starter because his worst performance is usually 5-6/10 since he runs himself to the ground.

Bastoni is left footed too - I think he's the pick of the defenders, is superb in possession but I can see the club going for a physical beast type defender - Lacroix, Botman, now that Konate is off the market. Marquinhos would be amazing but just don't see him moving.

The stats don't favour Mendy but he's the best keeper by a mile at the club, in his prime, big reach and if he's worked on his pen saving - his coach was talking about how he has been at it - especially the Aguero one was all about standing still and diving late - I'd still say Mendy for the shootout.

To be fair - English channels are biased towards English clubs. I still remember the commentator saying 'Get in there' when Ivanovic scored the winner against Napoli.
