  1. Can only dream of Marquinhos. Would give flexibility in midfield and in defence
  2. Should be throwing our hat into this.
  3. Great second half of the season but not overly worried if he chooses to move on
  4. Yes - Raiola parked Haaland at Dortmund for a big move down the line. He will look for another big move in a few years. But the club can't give up all the cards by agreeing to a get-out clause.
  5. Simon Phillips is a troll. And he is quoting Duncan Castles, another troll.
  6. but the links to Traore suggest he's happy with an impact sub player joining there
  7. Seems like they were not keen on it because its not a priority position.
  8. Why is it a whim? Reports from even those like Matt Law suggest that Tuchel wants him for the RWB position. Tuchel tried James, Azpi and CHO in that RWB role and doesn't seem to be satisfied with them especially when playing low blocks. Adama's posted good numbers in 2019-20 and his pace, dribbling is different and direct compared to what we have on the squad. RJ and Adama for RWB and RJ and Azpi for RCB is solid cover.
  9. https://www.rousingthekop.com/2021/06/23/its-logical-lille-director-admits-renato-sanches-is-available/ Renato Sanches is available btw
  10. White is right-footed. Its amazing Arsenal have around 10 centrebacks and they're spending 50mil on this position
  11. That is 68 million pounds - Kai Havertz transfer fee territory. Offering players in exchange is the only way to do a deal. If Inter prefer the straight cash from PSG (looks like this is the case), we move to other targets.
  12. I doubt any swaps will happen. Pjanic-Arthur is one of the few that have actually happened in the last few years.
  13. Not convinced of this source - it just says as per "Italian broadcast media" and quotes an older Sky report. But I'm okay with idea of trading Alonso to sweeten the Hakimi deal.
  14. GK 2 - Romero is available. Areola would be ideal - based in London I hope he wants to stick around and not move houses or something and accepts the 2nd choice role here. GK 3 - Hennessey like you said. Gazzaniga available from Spurs, or John Ruddy who was close to joining Chelsea few years ago.
  15. Chelsea still in the race for Hakimi, but also keeping an eye on Adama Traore https://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2021/6/20/22541940/Chelsea-still-in-the-race-for-hakimi-but-also-keep-an-eye-on-adama-traore-reports
  16. He's a baller though. MOTM in his first FA Cup, Premier League and now Scotland game. He seems to have an appetite to be always involved on the ball. To put regularly good performances, he needs to get regular games. If Tuchel decides to, he can split the game time between Jorgi and Billy - Billy is ready for the games vs lower Premier League opposition. Only reason for a loan is if we sign a DM - Rice/Tchouameni
  17. never understood why so many players sign 5-6 year contracts.
  18. Quality from full-backs/ wing-backs are now crucial to breaking down teams which crowd the space in the middle.
  19. I'd find a way to integrate him next season - reduce the burden on Jorginho in the deep-lying role
  20. Yep, unlucky not to have broken into top 4 yet.
  21. Also, January fixtures are tough when Mendy, Ziyech (possibly Hakimi) will be away for AFCON
