  1. Especially when Fulham are negotiating four deals for CBs.
  2. There is an actual offer. That is reason enough to let him go! Ampadu, Colwill are there for cover
  3. Ornstein article - Leicester value him at £80-85m. Chelsea hoping to include players, targeting both Fofana and Dumfries
  4. Yup. Its up to the club to put down 70m + Not sure if they'll do it. Preparing myself for Max Kilman on deadline day
  5. Have we actually ruled out @Tomo is not connected to Thomas Tuchel
  6. Yep. Club has to factor that they didn't get this done early in the window and spend more than they intended to. Will need this signing to think about 4-3-3 in games.
  7. Will take similar 60m+ figure for Gvardiol or Fofana and both clubs usually tend to sell if the offer is good.
  8. Should be all over this since we are considering selling Alonso, Werner, Ziyech. Left-footed. Has a bit of bulldog about him. Plays LWB, LF, even as striker.
  9. There was talk of club exploring the backup GK market- Strakosha was mentioned before he joined Brentford. Will need a backup keeper for this season and can't have Bettinelli as GK 2.
  10. Everton are not interested in Chelsea’s Ross Barkley (The Athletic) Knew the rumor was too good to be true
  11. He's not blameless but this is misplaced. Agree - wasting time on Sarr, Kennedy, Bats especially over Vale, Gilmour was pointless. But some perspective on the recruitment. Tuchel is not a recruiter and he was pushed into the role because of the circumstances - sale at the end of the season and no time to get a director in place. If we go fishing for quality players - Hakimi last season, Sterling, Raphinha, K2 De Ligt - we have to accept Chelsea is not the big draw it once was for most players. Among Tuchel's targets, only Kimpembe (he has coached him before) and Ake (didn't bid aggressively anyway) were the ones that were questionable. Dembele we were interested in but he signed for Barca even with a wage drop (would have been another pointless chase) and Kounde, I am not convinced is a huge mistake on Tuchel's part.
  12. His technique reminds of Havertz
  13. Think there are better options than Pavard for the RCB role. He has to be the last option in the list if we are targeting Gvardiol, Fofana, Skriniar
  14. Even the outgoings don't actually go. So many pre season minutes wasted on people who are on their way out
  15. Also Broja likely staying and eventually fighting for a spot here. Improves options in attack
  16. Joakim Maehle links. He played LWB primarily last year
  17. Agree. Not getting my hopes up but if there is a possibility, I would pay Kounde money for him
  18. This Athletic article from last week says that to sign players, Leicester need to sell first. The club committed £100million in funding for their new training ground at Seagrave, while also pushing through ambitious plans to redevelop King Power Stadium and the surrounding area. Castagne, Tielemans, Schmeichel, Dennis Praet were the ones they were hoping to sell but they have not got offers.
  19. No, Chilwell still had 4 years to run on his contract. Leicester accepted a 50m offer after finding out City aren't bidding.
  20. Maybe they will have the nice life of only playing Champions League games
  21. The plan like last year when Tuchel wanted Hakimi was to make Reece the RCB and go with a new wing back
