  1. Multiple - Kounde, Ake, De Ligt, Kimpembe, Gvardiol
  2. Options are only Skriniar (PSG), Gvardiol (expensive) and Kimpembe (Tuchel connection). There's a drop off after that when you consider the options are Pavard, Pau Torres, N'Dicka, Ake, Timber. Other than De Ligt, the CBs who have moved this summer - Botman, Martinez, Bremer - are a level below the ones we've signed.
  3. Newcastle have had a quiet summer so far all things considered. Added Pope and Botman but their attacking targets haven't worked out
  4. It is understood that Barça, who have experienced major financial problems, have urged Koundé to wait for them to meet Sevilla’s asking price. However, others have questioned whether Barça have the funds available after signing Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich.
  5. Its Kounde or nothing - at least for a signing before the season begins. Kimpembe is not very keen and Gvardiol is a tough negotiation. I read Chelsea members have been in Seville for a week - its all eggs on this basket.
  6. Too much being made of the Gallagher miss on social media. Nobody cares about a singular moment. But that performance should light a fire under some players.
  7. Can only think it is to put them on the shop window, attract offers. But clearly, we would be better off if we didn't give teams footage of how they are playing nowadays
  8. For the chaotic window we've had, we still have so much dead wood and they are still taking up squad spots. Giving Gilmour, Vale and Anjorin minutes was better than this. When Tuchel decided to trim the squad, they should have let Kennedy, Sarr and Bats go.
  9. As a wingback option, I'd sign him up
  10. Di Marzio saying close to Chelsea move for 50m euros (42.5m pounds) + bonuses. Very reasonable price if true.
  11. The Worst case scenario right here. Kounde goes to Barca. Alonso, Azpi stay here.
  12. Not really. The fee drops to 43m next summer due to the release clause kicking in. So any bid over that will at least be considered by Leipzig
  13. the days of quietly working on deals behind the scenes maybe over. Interest in a player is clear weeks before a bid
  14. Contract till 2026. Why are West Ham dictating terms exactly? I hope Boehly and co. can be stone cold about this and only sell with a buy-back or loan. Screw Broja's feelings if he is unsettled and wants to leave when he has the biggest chance for a crack at a Chelsea role.
