  1. It should have been him leading the line all of last month
  2. Six weeks of trying to shoehorn Lukaku into the setup has really messed up preparations for the CL knockouts. Just don't have the confidence from last year.
  3. Cesar Azpilicueta: "I expected the Palmeiras players to come around the penalty taker. I already told Kai he was going to shoot. I just tried to release the pressure from him, be more calm. With three minutes to go, it's an important moment. It worked!"
  4. [The Athletic] Chelsea’s agreed buyback clause does not kick in until 2023 for Livramento. Buyback clause is set at £50m although he would actually cost Chelsea around £38m as they are in line to receive a share of the profit from his next move. https://theathletic.com/2856551/2021/09/29/have-Chelsea-become-southamptons-ideal-feeder-club/
  5. Livramento buyback clause 2023 - 38mil
  6. But Chelsea have put in some groundwork to perhaps bring Dembele to the club later in the year, although it will still take at least one of the forward group to leave to make room for him. This is what they published. Not a lot of certainty there
  7. Come on. Would take Alonso anyday. I agree cover would have been nice but not at the range of Targett. He's Villa's Alonso
  8. Targett is fairly competent? Lol -
  9. he shouldn't be near a top club again
  10. Would rather non-league than Spurs
  11. Defenders not renewing, attackers leaving
  12. Oh hello - Liverpool signing Luis Diaz.
  13. I feel like the culture change of going with Mount Reece Tammy was the best thing he did but in his personnel, game-to-game tactical decisions, he was out of his depth very often. I disagree about the quality statement. We had quality - much more than any of the competitors for top 4 but Lampard's decisions meant Jorginho couldn't get in the team (now he was in Ballon D'Or discussion), Rudiger couldn't get in the team (now he's top 3 CB in the league), Tomori was promoted and frozen out without an apparent reason (doing well in Italy). This scintillating football we played under Lampard is also overstated imo. It was maybe twice or thrice over 90 mins in the first season (vs Tottenham away, Ajax away) We played much better football under Sarri (granted Eden was there) and a serious manager would have comfortably finished top 4 with that squad in 19-20.
  14. If we pull any of them and keep Jorgi Kova Kante - those midfield options are ridiculous
  15. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10442899/Pereira-Lampard-Everton-fans-graffiti-wall-Goodison-angry-protests.html If only Everton fans knew
  16. I'd have liked to see Tomori under Tuchel. Sale was sanctioned days before Lampard was sacked which didn't make sense when Chris, Rudi, Azpi and TSilva were towards the end of their deals
  17. P4 W4 vs Spurs this season. No goals conceded
  18. Kante has been misplacing most passes
