  1. Only the second goal will convince me we might win
  2. Where was he supposed to keep his hand ? edit - on a stream. Just saw it’s overturned
  3. Loan went exceedingly well but it’s a small profit in the end
  4. We have to sell from the A list according to reports. Some of the dead wood won’t make a dent
  5. Seems pointless - the effort to move out Madueke (after putting in 2.5 years into growing him + when he's approaching his prime years) and bringing in Garnacho/Nwaneri/Fofana and re-starting the process. We are only weakening the first team with this change. The common sense move would be to keep him unless Arsenal stump up 55-60m
  6. There is no replacement in line. Makes less sense to sell for lower price when almost all reported replacements (Garnacho, Fofana, Rogers) are looking more expensive
  7. Why should the club accept a low-ball offer for a player who's good and is attracting interest?
  8. 1 - Big no 2 - Project youngster. Will cost 50m + 3 - Another project 4 - Quoted 100m. No chance even though he's good
  9. Don't get the Madueke hate on here. He's our first choice right winger - he's direct, only behind Doku in take-ons, has consistently improved over two years. We will be weakening the squad by letting him go, especially with no replacement in line.
  10. Not as a rigid third choice but would have the security of two senior wingers because Estevao is an unknown quantity. We will only know during the season how he gets on in England.
  11. Without a replacement, it makes little sense to sell Madueke. Would actually keep him and give Estevao time to adapt to English conditions
  12. I would honestly keep Madueke. He’s a winger who works better for Maresca system and don’t see the need to weaken our first team in that area to get a replacement who’s at best the same level
  13. Signed for 16m. Turning a small profit here
  14. Arsenal going for Eze and Madueke to cover for Odegaard and Saka. But I don't think it is a given that Noni will accept this trade because it is a WC year and there will never be a scenario where game time at Arsenal with Saka, Nwaneri is going to be more than at Chelsea.
  15. He made a massive difference to the attack with his workrate - to the point we were a toothless team for the months he was out injured. Temperament and finishing issues were the letdown but Jackson is a good player and you can see that in many clubs lining up to buy him.
  16. Plan seems to be to sell Jackson and Madueke
  17. Surprised they seem to be going for Gyokeres in the end.
  18. Instantly undermines all the work we put in to make Noni a Premier League regular. I actually think the interest in him is not surprising and we should really keep him for continuity. Works well as a winger in Maresca's system.
  19. Until last week the brief was we will do minimum incomings - GK, CB, LW, ST But every transfer window, do the directors get a high out of getting involved in the market?
  20. Time to make it count - this side of the draw we are on. Benfica Palmeiras and potentially Fluminese/Al Hilal
  21. This Al Hilal side will be tough
  22. Even when returning from a long injury layoff, Rodri just jumps out in this game.
