If he fails to score against Stoke then people are going to say that its impossible for any striker to score against 10 defenders and then the excuses will go on.
Torres does not suck.He just does not suit our style and I am sure if he plays for some team like Arsenal,he will score plenty.Probably best if we part ways with the Spaniard in the winter and sign some striker who does not depend solely on service.
Lampard will definitely start for this game but I doubt he will play the whole 90 minutes.Subbing him off and bringing Ramires on at the hour mark would be a great move by RDM.
Trust me.If Torres nets two goals or even a hat trick then there is no way he is going to be sitting on the bench against Stoke as we will start to think that the old Torres is back.
Ramires must adapt to the double pivot role as I see Moses/Marin the ideal candidates for the right winger role. The departure of Raul probably does make sense now.
I actually laughed when he stormed off.I am not sure what he would have differently in the last 10 minutes as the spaniard always expected the ball to be passed to his feet.Credit to RDM for subbing him off and giving Danny the cf role instead of the usual winger role.
I was really impressed with Mikel's performance. He has been performing consistently and imo the best defensive midfielder in the league so far this season.
When Danny came on the pitch,he did not wait for his team mates to pass to him.Instead he fought for the ball and tried to create chances of his own and for others.
