  1. People moan about Mourinho being a negative manager and yet want Simeone?
  2. Liverpool have just sacked Brendan Rodgers. Klopp might be heading there soon...
  3. Bayern Munich - 8 league wins out of 8. Seven points clear at the top. #RIPBundesliga.
  4. Chelsea ALREADY unlikely to make Radamel Falcao loan deal permanent DUH!!!
  5. Like Choo Choo alluded to earlier, there's really no point in the players saying they still have the manager's back. Gotta prove it on the pitch and if the recent results and performances are anything to go by, then they suggest the opposite. Even if they don't want to play for the manager, then play for everyone else associated with the club. Show some bloody commitment, desire and passion for goodness sake!
  6. Standings: 1. Man City - 18pts 2. Arsenal - 16 3. Man United - 16 Meanwhile, Chelsea.....
  7. Well, we can always win the Europa League.
  8. Liverpool and Everton - our title rivals? We didn't sell De Bruyne directly to Man City now, did we? If the club are trigger happy, people will moan they don't show enough patience. If they show patience, then people say they're spineless. The board can't please everyone, can they?
  9. The interview was with Chelsea TV, I think. Don't think he could just ignore it. Could have certainly said less than he did though.
  10. You're missing the bigger point here. Regardless of whether it was insulting or not, such posts only serve to incite trouble, cause petty squabbles between members etc and these situations are not really desirable. I'm sure you are smart enough to realize that. That is exactly what I talked about in the previous post. If people want to agree or disagree with the posts, they will do it. You don't have to go around acting as if their views are right (no one is right or wrong here) and anyone who disagrees with it should be condemned. Does nothing but invite trouble.
  11. Do people seriously need to call others 'Mourinho Haters', 'Mourinho Fanboys' or things like that every time? When will people understand that there's always 2 sides to any argument/debate? Have seen both parties post valid points as to why they think Mourinho should be sacked or shouldn't. If you don't agree with them, just agree to disagree. There's no need to feel like you have to convince everyone to agree with you or bash them for daring to have another opinion and more importantly, there's no need to resort to name calling. It will only cause petty squabbles and create a toxic atmosphere in a place that I'm sure many enjoy to be on.
  12. To be fair, I only told iceboy to stop posting it.
  13. Jose Mourinho survives meeting of Chelsea board and will not be sacked despite poor start to the season He's safe.....for now. Then again, that article is written by Neil Ashton.
  14. The thing is, we played Newcastle at St James' Park where we have always struggled. Had we played them at home, pretty sure we would have won. Thank god this Aston Villa match isn't at Villa Park. We're at home. We should win. We need to win. We must win. Confident we will win.
  15. Thanks for the donation, @Essien19. Much appreciated.
  16. Weren't you one of those who desperately wanted Jose to get the sack? You changed your tune pretty fast.
  17. We should just liquidate immediately if we lose to Aston Villa.
  18. True but it has to start from somewhere. Hopefully it won't be another false dawn if we beat Aston Villa.
  19. Hmmm, a Jorge Jesus avatar.....
  20. @Adnane, think you have beaten Barbara to the longest written post ever on TalkChelsea.
  21. I know this manager hasn't done great of late but surprised no one has mentioned Hiddink, particularly if we're looking to have an interim manager till the end of the season.
  22. You're now just taking his words out of context. When Mourinho said he won't run away, he meant he won't leave the job on his own accord.
  23. But what about the center backs? We can't have slow and reactive defenders in the back 4 if we're going to go down that route and if that playing style can't be sustained, can Klopp find another way to make things work? His last season at Dortmund suggests 'No'. We wouldn't want a manager who knows only one way of playing and has no idea what to do when that style isn't working. That's likely to happen regardless of who we replace Mourinho with. But here's the thing, the players' improvement then might have more gotta do with the old manager going and a new one coming in and they are just reacting to that change before everything goes back to the dull state again.
