Superb performance and especially Hazard and Kante. Barring that one brainfart moment from Luiz, we controlled the game from start to finish and didn't give anything away. If there's one criticism is that our finishing was poor again. Really need to start putting away those chances in games. As for United, well, I know they have players out and have a hectic schedule but my word, they played like a typical Mourinho team away from home against one of the big teams. All they did was trying to kick us and contain our threat. Didn't even see any hint of Mourinho trying to hurt us by going forward. Same crap we've seen over the years. He's managing a big team in Man United but setting them up like a Tony Pulis side.

If Mata scores...

It'll be the end of the world if we don't win this now.

No doubt Gini is in the top 5.

City drew 0-0 with Stoke. 10 points clear. Next up for us in the league? Stoke away.

Ultimate bottle job from Emery and PSG. Emery back on the chopping block. Wenger for PSG?

Absolute madness of Arsenal to throw players forward with the tie already gone. Should have just shut up shot and take a narrow loss given what's happened. Instead, they continued to open themselves up and ended up with another catastrophic result.

Ibrahimovic has obviously been doing well this season but I wonder if his suspension is a good or bad thing for us. United can be rather predictable with him in the XI but with him not available, they may be less predictable and tougher to handle. It will also be interesting to see if Mourinho can produce effective XI without his usual big striker up front.

Mourinho already has his excuse.

First big team in the cup for us. Wonder if Conte will stick with his rotation policy or go full strength.

Not one to tell people how they should view football but we're at the point of the season where the results, not the performances, matter most. If we can play great football all the way, then good. If not, then it's fine and that's not to say we've been playing badly or boring stuff - far from it. It may not be overly exciting but I find beauty and/or excitement on how we've been going about things - we're doing the basics stuff well. When we can attack, we attack. When we have to defend, we defend. We're doing that as a unit, not just 3-4 players doing it and the rest can't be arsed, and that's pretty impressive as well as speaks volume of the Conte has done with this team in less than one season. Simple but efficient and ruthless.

Maybe but it's West Ham, it's a derby and it's away from home. Never know with these things.
-
Giving that late goal was just rubbish overall, good performance and passed a big test. Barely gave West Ham any chance whatsoever.
-
Both Spurs and City won. BIG pressure for tomorrow's game and that will only get bigger if we don't win.
-
And not to mention his injury record. Just picked up another one yesterday (not sure how serious though).
-
Unfortunately, that setting isn't available right now due to site issues (I think).

Mahrez only had 1 good season, which was last term. Hazard had many good seasons before last. It's beyond me how you can even say the two are comparable.
-
Yes, let's just keep pretending that Hazard didn't have previous seasons to fall back on.
