Don't think today's performance is down to British managers. It's just a simple case of a team parking the bus and we have no clue how to break it down.

Yes, we pinned them back but we didn't create many clear chances, did we? Even when we did have a chance, like the one very early in the second half, Pedro completely fluffed it. Plus, the front 3 of Hazard, Willian and Pedro is getting really annoying to watch. It looks a decent combination on paper but at times, we have looked more interested in going for the flicks, back heels rather than trying to get the goal. We have been trying to walk it in rather than just be direct and shoot when the space, even a little, opens up! Worst part is, we play at a snail tempo and without any real movement. Everything is almost in front of the opposition defence, making it so easy for them to defend. Rather than us trying to be creative, trying to do something out of ordinary to break them, we practically need them to have a lapse in defence for us to score, which isn't the recipe for success!

I know we have had our luck in the past but City's luck in the cups this season is a joke TBH. Already doing so well and they got Basel in the Champions League and now Bristol City in the League Cup!

Different priorities I guess but it's quite a stark contrast to see how Conte and Guardiola managed the squad for this week's League Cup tie. One played only one youth player in the XI and the other played six and in a much tougher game as well.

A reminder that the 4 teams directly below us play each other this weekend as well - Arsenal v Liverpool and Burnley v Tottenham. So, this game is a great opportunity to pull further away from at least 2 sides!

One way or another, we'll be playing without a striker in this one.
