Wins are wins but they don't change the fact that the comparison with Mourinho's first season numbers is dumb. One manager in the top level European competition while the other managed in the second tier European competition and barely faced any tough sides. The numbers make Sarri look great but some context needed.

This idea of Sarri not getting backed is stupid. If he hadn't been backed, then WTH were those signings of Jorginho, Kovacic, Higuain about? Those situations involving the fans booing him weren't great, but if he can't take a bit of heat, a bit of criticism (especially when some of it was his own doing), then maybe he shouldn't manage a club at the highest level and go back to manage in Serie B or C or something. The Napoli fans might not have booed him when he was there but managing Napoli and Juventus is two different worlds altogether. Good luck to him if he thinks things will be all rosy at Juventus if/when things go south.

Poor Pulisic, hasn't even played for us and people already putting tons of pressure on him. Ideally, we would want him to hit the ground running but if he doesn't, then I also think that should be understandable given he's only 21, in a new league etc. Give him some time, let him become his own man for us and not compare him with Hazard (because he's not Hazard) or whoever else. And considering we have been complaining for years about the team relying on one player (particularly when that one player has left) to do so something, maybe it's time for EVERYONE in the team to buck up their ideas and put proper shifts in because this whole thing about relying on one player has got to stop!

Not sure why are people assuming the add-ons to be trophies count when it could easily be goals, assists, appearances etc (Telegraph reported the add-ons are EASILY ACHIEVABLE). And even if it's trophies, do people really think Real won't win something again soon with the way they're rebuilding their squad?

Given the disconnect between the board and manager we have had in recent years, I would say this is most welcome, especially communicating with the fans bit - let us what's going on or what's their thinking on things, like what we normally see with clubs in other leagues rather than let stupid media rumors demoralize the club.
