  1. He chats shit. Says it all when he's quoted by the likes of Daily Express.
  2. Doesn't mean they're just going to let him go and leave themselves short on option. Also, if Jovic is part of their long term plan, what good does it do if he is loaned out after just 6 months when he's probably better off staying, trying to settle in etc?
  3. And you think Real will let him go because...?
  4. Ian McGarry has a history of talking BS and seemed to be the case here as well when he doesn't know that Mount has already signed a new contract.
  5. I think it's too simplistic to say 'we need reinforcements' to solve this. Sure, you're not wrong and it will help but we have seen this played out multiple times in seasons before last. 2008/09, 2010/11, 2012/13, 2017/18 are some examples.

  8. https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/2020/january/harry-kane-injury-update/ Kane has suffered a tear in his hamstring. No word on how long he will be out for. IIRC, Spurs used to cope well without Kane, when he's injured, under Pochettino. Will be interesting to see how they fare now without him under Mourinho...
  9. We can bring Pedro on if needed. Would rather give Pulisic the chance to regain his form/momentum than someone who is not in our long term plans. Plus, I'd be wary of making too many changes. Nottingham Forest are in decent form and the FA Cup is our one shot of glory this season.
  10. But which club really need Werner/Sancho? (I WANT WERNER!) Sancho to Liverpool makes no sense because Klopp isn't suddenly going to drop Salah (or Mane) and he's only 27 years old, hardly at an age where they need immediate replacement. Plus, they just bought Minamino from RB Salzburg. Not worried about United, because they are a mess and if Sancho chooses them, well, then maybe he's not very smart. If there's a Manchester club to be worried about, it's the blue half side. The Chelsea connection could ultimately decide whether we get Sancho or not, assuming the club isn't scared off by the big transfer fee.
  11. But how many other big clubs out there really need a ST and RW? In Werner's case, think there will be a release clause come next summer, so it'll be a case of convincing him as opposed to outbidding others for him. Being able to promise CL football for next season will also be key, I think (more so with Werner than Sancho). If we can't get them in January, fine but if we want to be certain for the summer, then we should try to do a Pulisic type of deal for them, unlikely for Sancho but maybe possible for Werner.
  12. If Villa take Drinkwater on loan, then they can't do so with Batshuayi. A PL club can only take one player on loan from another PL club.
  13. + Gilmour missed today's training due to a bug!
  14. Morris said there will be some rotation - as expected - especially there's been a bug flying around in the squad!
