  1. Have not seen him play but he can play as a winger or attacking midfielder apparently. And he's only 21 years old.
  2. Jorginho is one of Chelsea’s few leaders but has created only two goals – he has to do more https://theathletic.com/1499369/2020/01/01/jorginho-is-one-of-chelseas-few-leaders-but-has-created-only-two-goals-he-has-to-do-more/
  3. Didn't take long for the real Mourinho to show up again, did it? At least we don't have to pretend he's a changed man anymore...
  4. @Tomo, don't know if you have seen this but here's a United comment on AWB... https://www.redcafe.net/threads/aaron-wall-bissaka-2019-20-performances.448773/page-52 AWB's attacking numbers are kinda worse than Azpi's in some aspects.
  5. We don't need 2 Azpis at the club!
  6. But most of the managers had won trophies and still got sacked anyway (a lot of them asked for it). Liverpool? Man City? Maybe even Spurs when Pochettino was still there? Obviously results are important but the team's progress on the pitch is also important. That's why Klopp, Guardiola have been in their job for years while Pochettino was at Spurs for like 5 years. Emery simply got the sack because he was getting them nowhere. Had a decent first season but failed to build on it, this after spending a lot of money in the transfer window (something which Lampard hasn't even been able to do). Results got worse, performances got worse, Emery didn't know his best XI and best system and hell, he didn't even know what he wanted his Arsenal to be like. The word was that Arsenal wanted to evaluate Emery at the end of the season but his position became untenable once it became clear that he had no idea how to reverse their fortunes. With United, I don't even think they have a clue what they want to be considering they have hired four different kind of managers since Fergie. Moyes got the sack because he was just clueless - like Hodgson was at Liverpool - and his subsequent job failures proved it. Van Gaal and Mourinho won trophies but there was no progress under either of them, despite having spent millions. Solskjaer will likely follow suit somewhere down the line but Woodward has backed himself into a corner by publicly backing Solskjaer.
  7. I wasn’t referring to yesterday’s subs when I said the nonsense bit.
  8. Think he started 12 consecutive games in all competitions, which I don’t think he managed that at Dortmund.
  9. OMG! I can’t take the nonsense at this hour! All that loan talk from months ago was BS and was generated by the US media and even some people on here! When Pulisic wasn’t making the team back then, he said he would work hard, prove himself to force his way into the XI, which he eventually did. And when you said Pulisic was subbed off in 3 of the last 4, I’m assuming it’s the Lille game? If so, I wouldn’t count that because we were 2-0 up at that point and Lampard wanted to rest him for the following game. As for the sub calls, well, I supposed Lampard has his blind spots like every other manager, which is annoying. Willian for example contributed zilch against Brighton and looked dead on his feet with his 3rd game in 7 days and yet wasn’t subbed off.
  10. Pulisic was left out of the Arsenal game as a precaution because of a cramp in his hamstring after the Southampton game. The bit where Pulisic replied he’s “100% healthy” was to a Yahoo article that implied he’s injured - when he isn’t - and maybe out for some time.
  11. We have won only 3 of our last 9 Premier League games and somehow, we're still in 4th, with a 5-point lead over 5th. 🙃
  12. Have not seen much of him at United but have read comments that while he's solid defensively, he offers zilch going forward.
  13. You might as well say that about the whole team when it comes to the end product. At the very least, he was looking dangerous and making things happen. Otherwise, nothing was coming from Willian or the midfield. Only other attacking threat was James. Lampard has made a lot of questionable subs this season and today's feels like another added into the book, especially when we got worse after the subs.
  14. But he was growing into the game before being taken off? Had a few shots and created some opportunities for others.
  15. Lampard said Pulisic was brought off because he was looking tired...what!?
  16. TBF, Rudiger looked like he was gonna murder someone when something went wrong every time.
  17. Yes, his other two came in the Champions League.
