Putting Chilwell aside, comments like these make me wish social media had existed back in 2003 or 2004 like today because it would have been "very interesting".

Putting Chilwell aside, if Reguilon is really good as people make him out to be, why are Real Madrid not keeping him? Just wondering. Is he worse than Mendy and/or even a 32-year-old Marcelo?

I said that because it feels like we are only going for Havertz because other clubs can't afford him now and the opportunity is there to sign him. If Real Madrid or Bayern could afford him now, I doubt we would even bother to go for him, especially when his preferred choice is supposedly Real Madrid.
