Infections did spike up in Mykonos. So the quarantine could have been done just in case.

It's Bayer Leverkusen, not Kai Havertz FC. Pretty sure not everyone in that Leverkusen team has been called up to their national team. If the deal is sorted out with Leverkusen, it can be announced and then the medical to take place later. IIRC, that was what happened with the Werner deal.

That's because the incubation period of COVID-19 is 14 days. The virus may have gotten inside someone but the symptom(s) may not show up until a few days later.

Yeah...and they all happened to be in quarantine (not Chilwell, I think)...

Looks like Mount, Abraham and Tomori won't feature in this weekend's friendly... Mount and Abraham have been called up to the England squad next week though.

Daily Mail mentioned a number of players have tested positive for COVID-19 but didn't name the players while The Sun reported Pulisic, Abraham, Mount and Tomori are in quarantine but no mention whether they have tested positive or not.

He's in Milan now, right? Thought Italy aren't in UK's quarantine list? Not sure I believe this Silva becoming captain thing because making Silva the captain immediately and just like that would be pretty disrespectful on Lampard's part towards Azpi. Lampard should also know better than most that players don't necessarily need the armband to lead. Won't be surprised if Silva is made the vice-captain though.

I did say "at least Friday the earliest", especially if we assume Silva gets announced tomorrow. Saw someone mention a good point on Twitter earlier; the club would want to milk the social media reaction to every signing. Don't think they would announce Silva and Havertz on the same day, even if that is better for our sanity.

Don't think we'll see the signing of Havertz until at least Friday the earliest...
