Some stats and match information to throw in here... 1. West Brom have the 3rd best home defensive record in the Premier League (so far) this season, conceding just 4 in 6 home games. Only Stoke and Sunderland have conceded less - 1 and 3 respectively. 2. West Brom have the 2nd best home record in the Premier League (so far) this season, picking up 15 points from a possible 18. Only Man City have picked up more points at home - 16. 3. Chelsea currently have the meanest defence away from home in the Premier League, conceding just 4 goals in 5 away matches. 4. Chelsea are the 2nd best away team in the Premier League (so far) this season, picking up 11 points from a possible 15. Only Man United have picked up more points - 15. 5. West Brom have scored only 5 goals in 11 Premier League games against Chelsea. 6. West Brom ended a run of 13 consecutive defeats by Chelsea in all competitions when they beat them 1-0 in March 2012. 7. West Brom are averaging fewer crosses per game in open play (13) than any other side. And interestingly, the Guardian's match squad sheet listed Luiz, Mata and Oscar all as doubtful due to fatigue. As for West Brom, McAuley (hamstring), Morrison (knock), Mulumbu (hamstring), Reid (hamstring) are all doubtful for Steve Clarke.

It's not just about giving him the through balls but also the crosses from wide areas. You only have to read the article by WAGNH about his lack of movement inside the box against Liverpool which gave no chance whatsoever to Hazard, Bertrand etc to put the ball in from wide areas. Back then we were still putting crosses in and such but yet Torres finds silly excuses to take the easy way out.

No news on that front from RDM but according to the Blues News yesterday, he has returned to training IIRC. No clue as to whether he will play tomorrow.

Definitely agree with the point being made. RDM has to stop being stubborn and start trusting the so called 'squad players'. Those players weren't bought from League 1, 2 or some other small European Leagues. They have already played in some of the top European leagues previously and they are not exactly poor players either. Those players are more than capable of coming in and performing well for us. Additionally, with so many games coming up including crucial CL games and where we'll be playing every 3-4 days from now till January at the very least, he needs to be rotating the team. We can't afford to be running players to the ground and have them suffer a burnt out at this point of the season.

Can but there must be a minimum period of time of that player being loaned out at the other club like 3 months, 6 months etc. Otherwise, no club would want to take a player on loan if the parent club can just simply come and take them back anytime.
