Think a fair bit turned out for Piazon's unveiling at Malaga last season too IIRC.

Not a surprise and a good decision by him too to stay at Southampton and continue to develop. If we really want him, we will get him in the future. We were never gonna get him this summer.

It's a normal thing in Spain for fans to just turn up and see the unveiling of a new player acquired.

It's obvious some people just don't quite understand the concept of squad depth.

United are actually playing them this Saturday, 13th August, not Monday. And no doubt they would want to give their all against us, but let's not worry ourselves too much about that. It's only the 1st pre-season game. All about getting up to speed at this stage and let's just enjoy watching the team play again (finally!). We have more than enough quality to win this game anyway.

Think Mourinho would appreciate having a squad player like Moses. He could be used like how SWP was before by Mourinho. And not to mention, Moses is one of our only two genuine options on the right flank. Why create unecessary problems by selling him? Last season, we complain about not having enough squad depth and options. Now, when we have (nearly) solved that, people want to sell this player, sell that player at the slightest opportunity and after just 1 season at the club. People have been well spoilt by watching too much of Mata, Hazard, Oscar etc last season...

Going by this article posted in the last page, that would be no. Sky have more of the dominant rights here.

That maybe true but think you're overstating it a little bit. It's generally normal for new players to come in and hang out with others to know them better and make new friends, not just from the players coming perspective but also those that are already here. Don't exactly need a manager to tell the present players to do that. Nope. They are only flying out to Asia on Thursday evening.
