  1. Nope. After we face Norwich away early next month, there will be another 2 weeks of international break where teams will play their final round of World Cup qualifies and some others friendlies etc. Till then though, we'll be playing 6 games.
  2. There will be another one coming in 1 month's time.
  3. FWIW, it's probably best to just have low expectations on Eto'o to begin with. At least IF he doesn't perform to the level that we all hope he will be or better than our current strikers, we won't get too pissed off and disappointed about it. And on the other hand, if he surprises all of us and do well, then we all can feel really happy about it..
  4. Curious, mind expanding on why you say that?
  5. Well, now that you have explained it that way... Don't necessarily disagree with what you said there but the lack of quality attacking wise in that United game certainly played a part in both teams being able to defend well and restrict one another to half chances. There were several instances during that game where either side could have exploited the space given or available but did nothing with it and allowed the other side to get back to defensive positions/setup. And I wouldn't go till that extent to call what Mourinho's game plan being a tactical master class. It was good but not till that. As for the Ukraine v England game, it was not too different from that game at OT. Yes, it is as you said, there were space and defensive frailties in both sides that should have been exploited but otherwise, there wasn't anything much else really. Both teams were hopeless going forward and just defended when they had to. Nothing special but did what was necessary. Just that the other was better slightly and depending on which POV you want to look from.
  6. Not exactly consistent there. The game against United was similar to Ukraine v England, dull and lacking in quality if not just slightly better. Can't go look into the former from a tactical perspective and then the performance wise in the latter.
  7. First Woy said our game against United was the best this season and now he claims the match against Ukraine 'was a very good quality game'!
  8. England top of their World Cup qualifying group with 4 wins and 4 draws and those 4 victories came against San Marino and Moldova only...
  9. After playing in all of our last 4 matches and 2 full games for England this past week, surely Mourinho would not start Lampard here and give him a rest instead?
  10. Yeah but Tomo's comment previously still stands, no? Mourinho said he sees Ivanovic as RB only, as you said, but Martin Lipton just write with the assumption that he's the first choice.
  11. But you didn't say what was Eto'o doing there. (only saw that after I posted this actually )
  12. Chelsea TV apparently just reported awhile ago Eto'o took part in training today.
  13. In terms of gaining education and meeting great lecturers, it's good. Otherwise, everything else is not. I so prefer and enjoyed college life more than this.
  14. Have finally been hit with a realization that uni life is about to get underway again. A few more months of torture to endure.
  15. TBF, kellzfresh did mention Mourinho might line up that way and play on the counter for some games.
  16. An article written on Lukaku's situation with his NT on ESPN. Lukaku struggles to prove worth with Belgium
  17. Oh joy. Long travel for the Brazilian lads for pointless friendlies in mid-season.
  18. Lampard on what Redknapp said about him in 'that' video.. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/international/harry-redknapp-was-right--young-frank-lampard-did-turn-out-all-right-8803937.html He also spoke about other things relating to his 100th cap for England in that link above. Also, Jamie Redknapp on Lampard.. Lampard's attitude and work ethic always stood out, even as a kid in the garden... he deserves to be an England centurion

  20. Must have gotten lots of bashing from his dad last season then.
  21. Yeah. Seems to be the case a lot when suddenly players pull out of NT team duties with an injury only to then return for their club's match looking well.
  22. Agree and not just a grueling January though, it will be a horrific November and December to endure as I'm sure the stories/rumours will all come flying out by then.
  23. Don't think the injury was anything serious to begin with, was it? Just a minor or niggling one that requires him to be wrapped up in a cotton wool with a long term thinking in mind. But it's definitely a good news to hear.
  24. That's a fair point and think most of us are aware of that too but again, some of us have mentioned that let's just see how Mata is used and fares under Mourinho after this international break with many games coming up. We will then obviously find out who is right all along - Mourinho or the media.
  25. Really? Just because I apparently been using lots facepalms and all that equals to me moaning a lot?! Like I said though, it's only my opinion in that last post. If it doesn't bother you, then don't think about it...
