  1. Was actually kinda referring to McEachran in the CAM role at WBA but never mind. Even with those midfield options, McEachran would arguably give them something different as midfield passer in there, be it in their pivot duo or position behind the ST. And I did mention I would prefer McEachran to go to WBA because of Steve Clarke rather than the other clubs if a choice has to be made out of the list there.
  2. Hmmm. Good that Premier League clubs are watching him, assuming if it's true but not too certain if those clubs will the best for him. Some play a style that doesn't suit him or others that do or close to it, already 1-2 players in his position. My preference from that list, would probably be West Brom given Steve Clarke is there. Their style of play is alright and can arguable trust Clarke to watch after him better than the others.
  3. It wasn't the greatest of first touch but not a bad one like you're making it out to be. He got the ball decent/good enough and it bounced off his hand as he controlled the ball. If you can't even see the incident (objectively), perhaps a trip to the specsavers will help you with that..
  4. Blatant handball? No, it wasn't. It was an accidental one. He controlled Lampard's pass with his right foot and as he did that, the ball just bounced off his right hand.

  10. Really hope the likes of Azpi and Bertrand being used more. Seems ridiculous that they have hardly got much playing time so far and Mourinho has persisted with running some players to the ground. It's not like Azpi, Bertrand etc are rubbish players.
  11. Seems like it having looked at the players running on the near side. Couldn't tell before as that fella was running like Mata but look slight in frame like Oscar. And Mourinho won't like that from Oscar...
  12. I know stats and numbers are a nice way to value and judge a player but to just use that alone to form conclusions about a player is extremely myopic. Quantitative is good but you can't leave out the qualitative analysis either.
  13. Yes, it came from the right but Ivanovic was in the penalty box then and one of Mata or Oscar was tracking Olsson and didn't really put enough pressure on the cross.
  14. Pat Nevin may appear to be biased but I don't think he's THAT bias. Articulate his thoughts well and at least offer a different and better view from the Chelsea perspective rather than having to listen/read to all those BS anti-Chelsea views. I remember him having a go at the BBC coverage of the Hazard ballboy incident and slam them for their biasness of having only looked at the incident from a certain angle but not the right one. It's hilarious that every now and then, you will see wrong facts being posted about players in his team's TOTW. Absolutely embarrassing and laughable to think he's still got the job. And am surprised nobody mention that wanker Tony Gale. Always look to slate us in the match commentary at every single opportunity!
  15. Would throw this in too.. Martin Tyler is a Legend.
  16. Harry Redknapp: Watching Chelsea win the Champions League was the worst night of my football life as Gullit celebrated like a lunatic - then I lost my job at Spurs Poor ol' Arry..
  17. That's why I'm a forum staff and you're not. Seriously though, was rather random to suddenly see Mata's sister and his Spanish pal Adrian Lopez participating in the hangout!

  20. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/oct/07/ashley-cole-england-world-cup-qualifier?CMP=twt_gu Cole ruled out of English's WCQ against Montenegro this Friday. No other extra information mentioned in there. Anyway, even if he's back available for the Cardiff game, I'm just hoping Mourinho rest him and play Bertrand instead against them. No need to flog Cole (and some others actually) to death by playing him in almost every game when there is a dependable back-up player available.
  21. Yup and then they go on to wank about Norwich's performance, Januzaj's goal against Sunderland, Hansen babbling about his past Liverpool glory. Our performances, changes from Mourinho, Willian's goal, Ba's penalty incident all ignored. Wasn't mentioned, at all!
  22. Style over substance: Winning titles is not my most important task, says Mourinho... I'm at Chelsea to build a legacy of fancy football
